Despite his best efforts, the Nationals still fell in a 6-4 loss against the Rockies. Despite the defeat, Washington still must be very happy that they found their next superstar in Wood. The 22-year-old is slashing .284/.378/.550 with 18 home runs, 51 RBI, 43 runs, and nine stolen bases, making him a true five-category threat. The 6-foot-7 slugger ranks in the top two percent of the league in xSLG and hard-hit rate and even has an elite 12.9% walk rate.
