1B, 2B, 3B, SS: Hitter Fantasy Baseball Waiver Wire Pickups for Week 11 (2025)

J.P. Crawford - Fantasy Baseball Rankings, MLB Draft Sleepers, Waiver Wire Pickups

Andy's top 1B, 2B, 3B, SS, MI, CI fantasy baseball waiver wire pickups for infielders in Week 11 of 2025 (June 9 - June 15). Target these hitter streamers and stashes.

Welcome, RotoBallers, to our Week 11 infield waiver wire targets. With over two months of data to analyze, we can begin to see which breakout hitters are for real and which ones are not worth investing in.

This week, we will take a look at two infielders in Seattle who remain very under-rostered. In addition, a budding star in Los Angeles is slowly seeing his rostership increase and may not be available for much longer.

Need some help navigating your waiver wire? Feel free to hit me up @A_Smith_FS on X. For now, start getting your rosters ready for the week ahead by looking at my favorite infield waiver wire adds for Week 11 - June 9 to June 15.

Be sure to check all of our fantasy baseball lineup tools and resources:

Waiver Wire Pickups For Shallow Leagues (30-50% rostered)

Jake Burger, 1B/3B, Texas Rangers (35% rostered)

After posting a .190/.231/.300 line through his first 30 games of the regular season, the Texas Rangers opted to send Jake Burger to Triple-A for him to work out his struggles. This move has worked out quite well. While the Texas offense has remained inconsistent, Burger has been one of the lone bright spots.

Since May 12 (23 games), Burger has led a .244/.261/.477 slash line with five doubles and five long balls. Over his last seven games (entering Saturday), Burger has posted a .259 AVG line with a double and a home run.

Under the hood, Burger has generated an elite 14.8% barrel rate (87th percentile), 50.4% hard-hit rate (85th percentile), and a 75.0 mph average bat speed (91st percentile). While his strikeout rate will remain high, Burger holds 25+ HR upside that is worth rostering in all leagues.

Willi Castro, 2B/3B/SS/OF, Minnesota Twins (41% rostered)

The super utility man has enjoyed a nice power surge over the past week. From May 30 through June 5, Castro launched four long balls, added a double, and swiped a bag. Through 42 total games this season, Castro has posted a .255/.341/.441 line with six long balls and three stolen bases.

Having a similar utility role last season, Castro had value in category formats as he hit 12 home runs and swiped 14 bags while holding a .247 AVG with 89 runs scored, which were the 12th most in the American League. Through the opening two months of this season, Castro has generated a higher xBA (.251 - .244 xBA) in relation to last season, raised his xSLG (.381 - .403 xSLG), and raised his walk rate by a point.

Castro should remain in the starting nine every day due to his ability to play numerous positions. As a result, he is a must-roster as he is a viable injury replacement at nearly every position, given his ability to contribute to all five categories.

Matt Shaw, 2B/3B/SS, Chicago Cubs (45% rostered)

My final shallow league target is the top prospect in Chicago. Shaw was a popular late-round sleeper pick during draft season but saw his roster share plummet after he was optioned to Triple-A following his slow start.

However, since returning on May 19, Shaw has been one of the most valuable bats in the Cubs' lineup. Over his last 16 contests, the former first-round pick has posted a stellar .345/.387/.466 slash line with six doubles. During this stretch, he has swiped seven bags and held a strong 9:4 K:BB. He hit a long ball during Saturday's victory as well.

Through 59 career gams with Triple-A Iowa, Shaw has held a .293/.401/.545 line with 13 home runs and 11 stolen bases.

If available in your league, he should be at the top of your waiver wire claim. He carries elite five-category upside and has the potential to finish within the top 12 at the 3B position.

Waiver Wire Pickups For Deeper Leagues (10-30% rostered)

Ernie Clement, 1B/2B/3B/SS, Toronto Blue Jays (15% rostered)

Similar to Castro, Ernie Clement carries multi-positional eligibility on most platforms. Clement is on pace to enjoy a career year, as he has held a .282/.323/.398 line with 12 doubles, three home runs, and two stolen bases.

Since May 1, Clement has been one of the most productive batters in the sport, holding a .307/.350/.465 line with nine doubles and three home runs.

Is this production sustainable? He currently sits in the 22nd percentile in xwOBA, seventh percentile in barrel rate, and fourth percentile in hard-hit rate, which suggests his power production should be due for massive regression. However, he will remain a viable bat in points league, given his elite 12.6% K rate (91st percentile)

Hyeseong Kim, 2B/SS/OF, Los Angeles Dodgers (15% rostered)

The 26-year-old could not make the Opening Day roster but has found his footing in the Dodger lineup. Through his first 24 games in the majors (since May 3), Kim has posted an incredible .404/.436/.558 line with two doubles, two home runs, and five stolen bases.

While fantasy managers should not expect him to remain a .400 hitter, his underlying metrics suggest he should remain an elite contact hitter. He has generated a strong .297 xBA with a 41.5% LA sweet-spot%. Kim has also placed in the 86th percentile in sprint speed, which suggests he should steal at least 15+ bags by the end of the season.

While playing time could be tough to trust, especially against left-handed pitchers, he is producing a high level and is worth rostering in all 12-team formats.

J.P. Crawford, Seattle Mariners (12% rostered)

J.P. Crawford took a step back in 2024 and was off the radar of many fantasy managers heading into 2025. However, Crawford has enjoyed a strong start to the season and needs to be rostered in all standard leagues.

Through his first 59 games, Crawford has posted an impressive .383/.398/.395 line with eight doubles and five home runs. He has drawn walks at a 15.4% rate (96th percentile) and generated a .363 xwOBA (80th percentile) and a .280 xBA (78th percentile).

His 33.3% hard-hit rate suggests his power numbers will likely remain low, but his elite eye at the plate gives him a significant boost in points leagues and on-base percentage formats. Having an everyday spot at the top of the Seattle starting nine, Crawford is a must-target if you need a middle infielder.

Waiver Wire Pickups For The Deepest Of Leagues (Under 10% rostered)

Cam Smith, 3B/OF, Houston Astros (9% rostered)

Like Shaw, Smith was a popular sleeper pick entering the draft, but had some trouble adjusting to the major leagues. Through March and April, Smith posted an underwhelming .213/.306/.373 line with one double, one triple, three home runs, and a 25:8 K:BB.

However, since May 1, Smith has begun to turn the corner. Over his last 26 contests, the former 14th overall pick has posted a .273/.347/.352 line with seven doubles and two stolen bases. While his power production has yet to show in the majors, seeing him adjust this quickly is a very promising sign.

Smith posted a low .304 SLG when facing fastballs in April, but raised that mark to .538 in May. With the numerous injuries in the Houston outfield, playing time should remain relatively steady for Smith. Smith is a top bench stash if available, as he could be in store for a big second half.

Ty France, 1B, Minnesota Twins (5% rostered)

Ty France has just continued to hit. Over his last 13 games, entering Friday, France has only gone hitless once and held an impressive .340/.389/.440 line over this stretch.

Through 60 total games, France has posted a .273/.355/.373 line with 10 doubles and four round-trippers. While France does not possess high power upside, he will provide a boost to your batting average while providing stable counting stats, batting every day in the heart of the Minnesota lineup that recently welcomed back power bat Matt Wallner.

Under the hood, the 30-year-old sits in the 79th percentile in xBA and 75th percentile in xwOBA.

Cole Young, 2B/SS, Seattle Mariners (6% rostered)

My final infielder to target is the No. 43-ranked prospect in baseball, Cole Young. The Mariners called up Young to the bigs last weekend and started his MLB career on a high note, hitting a game-winning RBI single. However, over his next 11 at-bats (four games), he would go hitless and strike out six times.

Young came up through the Seattle system as a shortstop but has shifted to the keystone with the previously mentioned Crawford holding down the everyday role at shortstop.

At Triple-A this season, Young flashed high potential, posting a .277/.392/.461 slash line with 13 doubles, five triples, and five home runs across 54 games. Young added four stolen bases and held an impressive 28:31 K:BB. Even though Young has started his MLB career off slow, this is the perfect time to stash him on your bench in 12+ team formats.
