Cole Young Homers, Collects Three RBI on Sunday
Cole Young went 3-for-5 with a home run, three RBI, and a stolen base on Sunday for Triple-A Tacoma. The former first-round draft pick has caught fire in May, hitting .385 with a 1.222 OPS since May 3, including seven doubles, three triples, and five home runs in 20 games. All three stolen bases he's tallied for the year came in this stretch as well. Carrying a .260/.372/.443 so far in 2025, the 21-year-old also possesses a keen eye at the plate to go along with strong contact skills, registering an impressive 26:27 BB:K through 226 plate appearances. The Mariners' third-ranked prospect is making a formidable case for a call-up to the majors, which could come as soon as sometime in June. The left-handed hitter is eligible at both 2B and SS on Yahoo!, and is one of the top priority prospect stashes in very deep and AL-only leagues.
