Brandon Nimmo Out Again On Wednesday
Brandon Nimmo (illness) remains out of the starting lineup for Wednesday's contest against the Arizona Diamondbacks at Citi Field. Nimmo had a career day with two home runs and a whopping nine RBI in Monday's victory over the D-backs but then came down with an illness and is sitting out a second straight game. Fantasy managers will have to check back to see if the 32-year-old veteran is feeling good enough to play in Thursday's series finale. Jeff McNeil will start in left field on Wednesday and bat sixth against Diamondbacks right-hander Corbin Burnes. McNeil got off to a late start this year due to an oblique injury and has gone 4-for-12 with a homer and three RBI in his first three games. He's hit .267 with a homer and two RBI in 15 career at-bats against Burnes but will be a poor DFS choice in this matchup on Wednesday.
