Seiya Suzuki Stays Hot, Boosts Cubs Offense With Two-Run Home Run
Seiya Suzuki powered the team to a commanding 9-0 win over the Pittsburgh Pirates on Tuesday night. Suzuki went 3-for-4 with a two-run home run, a triple, a walk, and two additional runs scored in Tuesday's victory. The 30-year-old is now slashing .298/.368/.596 and continues to produce at the plate after his best offensive season in 2024. He has also recorded four multi-hit performances in his last five games. Suzuki remains a key piece in the Cubs' offense as he and the Cubs will try to keep things rolling Wednesday against right-hander Carmen Mlodzinski.
