It was a week to forget at The Sentry for Eric Cole, as the 36-year-old averaged -0.68 strokes gained with the putter and -0.83 strokes gained on approach over his four rounds. Both are unusual struggles for Cole, who finished last season ranked 47th (+0.204) in strokes gained putting and 66th (+0.258) in strokes gained on approach. He has a T13 and a T61 on the record at this week's Waialae Country Club and with the forecasted weather, perhaps another struggling week could be in store. However, he ended 2024 with a T6 and T15, so there is a chance that last week was a bit of a fluke.
