Rachaad White fantasy football start 'em, sit 'em picks for Week 9 (2024). Should you start or sit Rachaad White for fantasy football lineups?
BALLER MOVE: Start in 14+ Team PPR Leagues
POSITIONAL VALUE: RB3/RB4
ANALYSIS: Tampa Bay Buccaneers running back Rachaad White is slowly but surely ceding more and more carries to his competition, but his value as a pass-protector and pass-catcher give him playing time and PPR-scam fantasy points that make him worth starting in PPR leagues still.
Rachaad White ranks 41st in explosive run rate (6%) and 43rd in percentage of carries stuffed for no gain or a loss (30%) among 43 RBs with 50+ carries this season. So he's struggled to create big plays on the ground BUT also struggled to limit losses. Other than that been solid.

He was poor at creating yards after contact, explosive run rate, and forced missed tackles in 2023. So who could have seen this coming? He's now in a full-blown committee with rookie Bucky Irving, and that's not about to change. He mostly has value in PPR leagues, and if he doesn't score a touchdown, chances are he won't crack double-digit points.
He'll face a brutal Kansas City Chiefs run defense that's been by far the best fantasy defense against running backs this season. HE may be needed to block for his quarterback, Baker Mayfield, more than anything. He's slowly losing his rushing work, though he's likely to still get receiving work, making him tough to start in a hard matchup outside of deeper leagues.
