ANALYSIS: Tight end Tyler Conklin of the New York Jets has scored in consecutive games, but his Week 9 matchup facing the Houston Texans is far from ideal.
With Davante Adams added to the Jets' roster, Aaron Rodgers has another go-to target. This addition should further impact Conklin's role in the offense.

Conklin's target share in Week 8 was only 12.5%, ranking fourth on the team. His lack of targets limits his potential to be a dependable fantasy asset.
The Texans' defense has been stingy against tight ends, allowing just 5.4 yards per pass. They have only given up 21 catches and 168 receiving yards to the position this season, which makes them one of the most challenging matchups for tight ends in fantasy.
Houston also surrenders the third-fewest fantasy points to the position, making Conklin a risky play. With the Texans' solid pass defense and Adams' arrival impacting target distribution, Conklin is best left on the bench this week.
