Xavier Worthy fantasy football start 'em, sit 'em picks for Week 7 (2024). Our advice on whether you should start or sit Xavier Worthy for fantasy lineups.
BALLER MOVE: Start
POSITIONAL VALUE: WR3/Flex
ANALYSIS: Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Xavier Worthy is a big play waiting to happen, and with more opportunities, he could establish himself as a clear WR2 in fantasy football. The speedster is grouped with quarterback Patrick Mahomes and head coach (and offensive mastermind) Andy Reid, and that will work wonders for his career.

But I DID (if you missed it) wrote about how Xavier Worthy is getting open deep and the Chiefs' offense needs to feature that ability more. https://t.co/PaUCWvdu6A pic.twitter.com/ST9g6yJUHR

Usually, rookies get involved in Reid's offenses pretty slowly. It's probably frustrating to see Worthy getting open deep only to not have the ball thrown his way. That should change with time, though. Last year, we saw then-rookie Rashee Rice take on a much bigger role later in the season and produced very well.
Patience will be the key here, and while the big-play ability makes him worthwhile to start in flex spots and deeper leagues, consistency could be hard to come by for at least the next few weeks. But as the rookie burner gets acclimated to the offense, he could pay off in a big way down the road.
