Rico Hoey began his week at the Sanderson Farms well enough. The golfer from the Philippines shot a 68 and then proceeded to get progressively worse each round. Hoey finished off his weekend with a 76 on Sunday that dropped him all the way to 68th. Hoey had a similar result in July at the 3M Open before bouncing back at the Valspar (T-22nd). Since the end of June, he has three four-round stretches in the 60's. However, before that, Hoey missed five consecutive cuts. Considering the golfer missed four in a row to start 2024, there is a hot and cold nature to his game. Playing on the new Utah course could be an adjustment which causes lost strokes for Hoey. --Chris Wassel - RotoBaller
