Week 2 of the 2024 NFL season is almost behind us. It was a fun week of action, with what seemed like a disproportionate number of long touchdowns. It also featured the second straight offense explosion from the Saints. Is New Orleans for real? Anyway, onto our Week 3 wide receiver fantasy football waiver wire pickups list.

Below, you'll find some wide receivers that you should be targeting on the fantasy football waiver wire ahead of Week 3. Not all of these waiver wire options are the same. Some players may be better in PPR or deeper leagues, so it’s not a one-size-fits-all comparison. Use your best judgment when deciding which of these players is the right fit for your roster.

Wide Receiver Fantasy Football Waiver Wire Pickups

Demarcus Robinson, Los Angeles Rams- 42% rostered

Puka Nacua is on IR and Cooper Kupp exited Sunday's game with an ankle injury. If Kupp misses time, Robinson is a must-add in all formats. He was only targeted four times against the Cardinals in Week 2, but had a 42-yard reception.

There's a good chance that Robinson enters Week 3 as the No. 1 receiver for Matthew Stafford and the Rams. He'll have WR3 appeal if Kupp is ruled out.

Jerry Jeudy, Cleveland Browns - 41% rostered

With 14 targets through two games, it's time to say that Jerry Jeudy is worth a roster spot in all formats. Against the Jaguars on Sunday, Jeudy was targeted six times, catching five of those passes for 73 yards and showing he could be a downfield weapon for Deshaun Watson.

I'm still not sold on this Browns offense because Watson continues to look washed, but Jeudy is a talented player with a sizable role, which makes him worth adding, especially with Amari Cooper struggling a bit.

Romeo Doubs, Green Bay Packers - 45% rostered

I'm a big Romeo Doubs guy, but I was worried that he wouldn't produce with Malik Willis under center. Doubs had a strong showing, as he caught all three of his targets for 62 yards. He was the only Packers receiver to finish with more than 26 yards, though it was Dontayvion Wicks who scored the team's receiving touchdown (Wicks had just one reception, though.)

Alec Pierce, Indianapolis Colts - 28% rostered

The Colts might expect big things from Adonai Mitchell, but the rookie has just two catches through his first two weeks in the NFL. Instead, it's Alec Pierce who has been the team's No. 2 receiver this year.

In Week 2, Pierce was targeted seven times, catching five passes for 56 yards and a score. That makes two games in a row that Pierce has found the end zone. He has flex appeal in 12-team leagues as long as Josh Downs is sidelined.

Gabe Davis, Jacksonville Jaguars - 34% rostered

Gabe Davis hasn't been able to generate any big touchdown plays yet, but I really like his usage trends for the Jags. Davis was targeted seven times on Sunday, catching three of those passes for 43 yards. He's bound to break off a huge play at some point and if he can keep getting a solid number of targets, those huge plays are just around the corner.

Deeper Wide Receiver Fantasy Football Pickups For Week 3

Quentin Johnston, Los Angeles Chargers - 7% rostered

It's an interesting battle to see who the No. 1 receiver is for the Chargers this season, with second-year receiver Quentin Johnston making a strong case. He's been targeted 11 times through the first two games.

After a decent Week 1 showing, Johnston exploded for two touchdowns against Carolina on Sunday. It was an impressive showing and he should certainly be added in most leagues, but can he repeat it against a team that isn't Carolina?

Andrei Iosivas, Cincinnati Bengals - 7% rostered

With Tee Higgins out for a second week in a row, we saw another strong showing from Andrei Iosivas. He was targeted four times and caught two passes for just seven yards, but both catches went for touchdowns. He's worth adding in deep leagues and is a flex option until Higgins is back, but his value will drop tremendously the moment Higgins is back on the field.

Jalen Nailor, Minnesota Vikings - 1% rostered

It was a strong showing for Jalen Nailor on Sunday as he caught three of his four targets for 54 yards and a score. His value going forward depends on what the injury situation is with Justin Jefferson and Jordan Addison, though. If both are healthy in Week 3, Nailor is off the fantasy radar. If one is out, he has deep-league appeal. If both wind up out, he becomes a strong streaming play.

Wan'Dale Robinson, New York Giants - 20% rostered

Wan'Dale Robinson didn't repeat his 12 targets from Week 1, but he did find the end zone in Week 2 to salvage his day. His targets were capped because Daniel Jones seemed hyperfocused on feeding rookie Malik Nabers, who he targeted 18 times. There's no way that continues, right? Robinson should usually be good for 6-8 targets per contest.

Elijah Moore, Cleveland Browns - 2% rostered

Elijah Moore isn't producing a ton yet, but 14 targets through two games is definitely notable. He's mostly working near the line of scrimmage and has appeal as a deep-league PPR flex, especially with the Giants' defense on tap for Cleveland in Week 3.

Josh Reynolds, Denver Broncos - 1% rostered

I'm honestly not sure what to make of the wide receiver position in Denver. Courtland Sutton saw 12 targets in Week 1, but just four in Week 2 against the Steelers.

The leading receivers in targets this week for Denver were Josh Reynolds and Lil'Jordan Humphrey with five apiece. Of the two, Reynolds feels like someone whose role is more sustainable. He caught four passes for 93 yards this week against the Steelers. This Denver offense will be frustrating all year, but if Reynolds is the No. 2 guy in it, he's worth a roster spot in 12-team leagues and has matchup-based appeal.

Jalen Tolbert, Dallas Cowboys - 2% rostered

Jalen Tolbert was targeted nine times on Sunday, as many times as CeeDee Lamb and Brandin Cooks combined. He brought in six of those looks for 82 yards. This was more than likely a one-week thing, with Dallas playing from a major deficit for much of the loss against the Saints, but Tolbert is worth a stash spot in 14-team leagues.

Rashod Bateman, Baltimore Ravens - 11% rostered

Rashod Bateman is going to be such a frustrating player in fantasy this year. He gets targets, but not enough to really ensure a ton of production. This week, Bateman was targeted four times, catching three passes for 40 yards. His floor is high enough to make him worth a roster spot, but you'll never feel safe starting him.

Ja'Lynn Polk, New England Patriots - 14% rostered

Ja'Lynn Polk caught a touchdown pass on Sunday. He saw three of the five targets for New England's wide receiver and 12 of the 19 receiving yards for the team's wideouts. Hunter Henry probably won't dominate the targets normally, so Polk is worth stashing.
