It was a typical putting week for Justin Thomas at Pinehurst No. 2 -- it was bad. But the more than six shots he lost over the first two rounds were anything but typical. His history at TPC River Highlands has been either feast or famine, but throwing last week's debacle out the window gives us a player who is hitting and chipping it well enough to put together a decent four days.
