Front Row Motorsports driver Michael McDowell will start 22nd in this week's Iowa Corn 350 at Iowa Speedway. This is the fourth time this year that McDowell will start outside of the Top 20 and the first time since Martinsville in April. McDowell previously ran at Iowa in the ARCA Menard's Series and the Xfinity Series. In the ARCA Series, McDowell has two top-5 finishes in two starts, while in the Xfinity Series, he has seven top-10 finishes and a best finish of second in eight starts at Iowa. With 16 races completed so far this year, McDowell has seven top-20 finishes, including four of the last five Cup events. In practice, McDowell ranked in the Top 20 in all eligible speed categories and was ninth in overall lap averages. Based on his practice speeds and past experience, look for McDowell to place in the Top 20 and obtain positive Place Differential at Iowa.--Sean Engel - RotoBaller
