Free-agent defensive tackle Teair Tart is visiting with the Cincinnati Bengals on Thursday, according to source. Tart had eight tackles for loss in 11 games (nine starts) for the Houston Texans last year after he was claimed off waivers from the Tennessee Titans. The 27-year-old former undrafted free agent from Florida International played the first three seasons of his career with the Titans and had a total of 32 solo tackles, 1.5 sacks, eight tackles for loss, 10 QB hits, one interception, seven passes defended and a fumble recovery in 34 games (27 starts). The Bengals tried to claim Tart when he was waived by Tennessee last year. He's a logical pickup after former defensive tackle DJ Reader signed with the Detroit Lions in free agency on Thursday.--Keith Hernandez
