CBB DFS: Main DraftKings Daily Fantasy College Basketball Picks - Today's Top Lineups (2/13/24)

Armando Bacot CBB DFS ncaa tournament daily fantasy college basketball march madness

Today's Main DraftKings CBB DFS lineup picks for 2/13/24. Mike's top daily fantasy college basketball sleepers to build winning NCAA DFS lineups on DraftKings.

I really like what DraftKings has done with the place! Last year on massive slates like this, they often cherry-picked a dozen games and left it at that. Many marquee teams were left off slates because of it. This year, they are giving us more games on two unique slates. If that sounds like heaven, you're right... it is. We have 17 games tonight with a nine-game main slate and an eight-game late slate. We will concentrate on the main slate first, but I won't leave you hanging. I'll cover the night one as well. The only early tip is in Indianapolis with Marquette in town.

The usual start time gives us A&M in Nashville to face Vandy. St. John's faces the Friars in Providence. Michigan is on the road in Champaign. Iowa State heads to Cincinnati for a Big 12 welcome. North Carolina is in the Loud House to see if they can beat the Orange by 50 again. Pitt is in Charlottesville to take on the Hoos. LSU is Gator hunting in Gainesville. We end this at the Birdcage in Omaha with the Hoyas in town.

This article will provide you with my daily fantasy college basketball lineup picks for DraftKings on 2/13/24, starting at 6:30 p.m. EST. I’ll provide multiple player suggestions at guard and forward, aiming to highlight one option at the salary scale's high, middle, and lower levels. Good luck, RotoBallers.

Today's DraftKings Guards - CBB DFS Lineup Picks

Devin Carter, Providence ($9.4K)

30 DraftKings points count as a disappointing game for Carter now. That's how good he has been since Bryce Perkins went down in the first meeting with the Johnnies. Carter finished that game with a staggering 59.75 DraftKings points (he even fouled out in that game!). Carter might not score 31 again, but the rest of the numbers in that game are sustainable. A 30-point floor is acceptable for a pay-up spot and his ceiling is almost as high as Tyler Kolek's. The floor is much better though.

Zyon Pullin, Florida ($7.8K)

Pullin has 154.25 DraftKings points over the last four games against the class of the SEC (Auburn, A&M, Kentucky, and Georgia). He has averaged 20 points per game in those contests with 5.3 rebounds, 6.5 assists, 1.3 steals, and 0.3 blocks. Those numbers are way ahead of his season stats. I'm comfortable riding Pullin on a hot streak. His floor is as high as those in front of him at a fraction of the price.

DJ Davis, Butler ($6.7K)

After hitting bottom with just 5.25 DraftKings points in 20 minutes against Xavier, Davis has rattled off six consecutive games of at least 30 DraftKings points. He has scored 125 points alone in those six games. Davis is a strong defender and a good rebounder as well. Those ugly games in mid-January still make me nervous, but a six-game stretch like this is starting to make me forget. Davis is shooting well from the field and the Bulldogs are winning. Ride this train while it lasts.

Jaelin Llewellyn, Michigan ($4.9K)

It's another road game for Michigan, so that means no Dug McDaniel. The entire team was a wreck at The Vault over the weekend in a loss to Nebraska, but Llewellyn still had respectable numbers. It was his first game under 20 DraftKings points as a starter, but with the way Nebraska has played at home this year, we can forgive that. This is another rough matchup for Michigan and Llewellyn isn't the great value that he used to be. However, if his floor is 15 DraftKings points, that's still not a bad number for a value play and the potential is there for more.

Also consider: Tyler Kolek, Marquette ($9.7K); RJ Davis, North Carolina ($9.2K); Reece Beekman, Virginia ($8.1K); Daniss Jenkins, St. John's ($7.7K); Posh Alexander, Butler ($7.4K); Keshon Gilbert, Iowa State ($7.1K); Steven Ashworth, Creighton ($6.8K); Isaac McKneely, Virginia ($6.2K); JJ Starling, Syracuse ($5.8K); Riley Kugel, Florida ($5.5K); Justin Harmon, Illinois ($4.6K); Nahiem Alleyne, St. John's ($3.8K)

Today's DraftKings Forwards - CBB DFS Lineup Picks

Armando Bacot, North Carolina ($8.7K)

Bacot must have heard everyone talking up Harrison Ingram so he had to assert his dominance again. Bacot has 123.5 DraftKings points over the last three games. He had a modest total of 35.75 DraftKings points in the first meeting against Syracuse, but that was in just 17 minutes of court time. If this game stays close, Bacot could break the slate. A double-double in 17 minutes is the stuff legends are made of. Don't be shocked if it happens again.

Joel Soriano, St. John's ($7.2K)

I always do a double-take when I see a guy this talented who is priced this low. Soriano has hit a bit of a rough patch of late, culminating in a foul-riddled 17 minutes against Marquette in which he failed to hit double figures in DraftKings points. Yikes! He was good against DePaul but was lifted after 24 minutes in the blowout. That followed a horrible game against UConn in which he scored just six points.

I've watched Soriano for a couple of years now. You can't keep him down for long. He put up 27.25 DraftKings points in the first meeting with Providence, but if Josh Oduro is out again, Soriano could feast. He's perfect for GPP usage with his price this low.

Robert Jones, Iowa State ($5.2K)

I always have room for a jack-of-all-trades in my DFS lineups. Jones is an excellent defender on a team full of great ones and is a sneaky-good passer. He times his jumps well to get blocks and rebounds and is usually good for six to eight points per game. That's an invaluable tool in DFS lineups. Jones has no real upside, but the floor makes him a cash game staple.

Jake Groves, Virginia ($4.8K)

Gone is Jacob Groves, younger brother of Tanner, but a much more talented version. Now it's just Jake and he has moved across the country with a pit stop in Oklahoma. He's no longer asked to carry a frontcourt by himself. Groves has scored in double figures in four straight games, and if he could stay out of foul trouble, he could end up scoring more. Groves is a great role player on a team full of them. He's priced too low for the recent scoring surge he (and we) enjoyed.

Also consider: Ryan Kalkbrenner, Creighton ($9K); Oso Ighodaro, Marquette ($8.1K); Coleman Hawkins, Illinois ($7.9K); Andersson Garcia, Texas A&M ($6.8K); John Newman III, Cincinnati ($6.4K); Terrance Williams II, Michigan ($5.8K); Federiko Federiko, Pittsburgh ($5.3K); Tyrell Ward, LSU ($4.7K); Andre Screen, Butler ($4.6K); Zuby Ejiofor, St. John's ($4.4K).
