Week 13 Half-PPR Wide Receiver Rankings for Fantasy Football: Rashee Rice, Puka Nacua, Nico Collins, Tyler Lockett, more

Rashee Rice - Fantasy Football Rankings, NFL wr, Draft Sleepers

RotoBallers, we are coming to the home stretch of the fantasy football regular season with just two weeks left. The player pool for Week 13 will be slim compared to other weeks, with six teams on the bye. The Giants, Vikings, Ravens, Bills, Raiders, and the Bears are off this week. There will be tough decisions when setting your lineup, and fantasy managers will be looking for bye-week replacements. We are here to help guide you with our Week 13 half-PPR wide receiver rankings for fantasy football.

Some lingering questions are heading into Week 13. Can Cooper Kupp bounce back against Cleveland this week after racking up just 12 catches for 127 yards with no touchdowns over his last five games? Noah Brown (knee) is back at practice Wednesday and will look to build on his career performance (7-172-0) in Week 10 versus the Bengals. Where is Brown ranked now that he's returned to action? See where Brown, Kupp, and other vital wideouts such as Rashee RicePuka NacuaNico CollinsJayden Reed, and Tyler Lockett rank in Week 13.

Our fantasy football rankings for Week 13 are put together by Nick Mariano. In addition to our staff rankings, below you will also find a summary of this week's important fantasy football injury news. There are always critical injuries to track, so check back until kickoff.

Editor's Note: Our incredible team of writers won two writing awards and received 12 award nominations by the Fantasy Sports Writers Association. A big congrats to our very own Byron Lindeque (Golf) and Jordan McAbee (NASCAR) for both winning Writer Of The Year awards! Be sure to follow RotoBaller's analysis and advice all year long, and win more. Win More With RotoBaller!

Week 13 Wide Receiver Fantasy Football News and Injuries

Week 13 Wide Receiver Rankings Analysis

A new feature has been added to our weekly fantasy football rankings article. Below, you will find our fantasy football outlooks for key options in Week 13, which gives readers a matchup preview of that player and advice on whether you should start or avoid for the upcoming week. We provide outlooks for all 32 NFL teams, which can be found on our player profile pages and our fantasy football news desk.

DeAndre Hopkins, WR, Tennessee Titans
Week 13 Overall Half-PPR Rankings: 44
Week 13 Wide Receiver PPR Rankings: 20

Tennessee Titans wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins caught eight passes for 140 yards in the Week 5 matchup against the Indianapolis Colts. In Week 13, he'll face the Colts again -- this time with rookie quarterback Will Levis (ankle) under center. Levis was limited in practice to begin the week with an ankle injury, but there is no indication that he won't play.

In five games with Levis, Hopkins has totaled 18 receptions for 323 yards and four touchdowns. Ultimately, Hopkins has plenty of upside and projects to be at least a low-end WR2. His floor is as low as it has been during his stellar career, but he's worth trusting in this spot.

Tyler Lockett, WR, Seattle Seahawks
Week 13 Overall Half-PPR Rankings: 60
Week 13 Wide Receiver PPR Rankings: 29

Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Tyler Lockett had three receptions for 30 yards in Week 12 against the San Francisco 49ers. During the season, he is up to 575 yards and is projected to fall short of the 1,000-yard mark for the first time since 2018. Managers who drafted him for his WR2/3 potential have had to settle for the nine-year veteran to perform closer to a boom-bust flex play.

Week 13 figures to be more bust than boom as the Seahawks face the Dallas Cowboys in a Thursday night matchup. The Cowboys are ranked sixth against the pass in defensive DVOA and are giving up the third-fewest fantasy points per game to opposing wide receivers in PPR formats. Lockett projects to be a WR4 in Week 13.

DK Metcalf, WR, Seattle Seahawks
Week 13 Overall Half-PPR Rankings: 60
Week 13 Wide Receiver PPR Rankings: 29

Wide receiver DK Metcalf was targeted nine times in the Seattle Seahawks' loss to the San Francisco 49ers on Thanksgiving. Unfortunately, those looks resulted in just three catches for 32 yards in Week 12. The Seahawks face another tough defense in a Thursday night game when they head to Dallas to play the Cowboys to kick off Week 13 action.

Metcalf figures to spend a lot of time opposite defensive back DaRon Bland, who on Thanksgiving recorded his fifth pick-six of the year, setting a new NFL single-season record. Metcalf had back-to-back 90-yard games as recently as Weeks 10 and 11, though outside of those games, there has been little to celebrate for those rostering him. Given the matchup, fantasy owners cannot expect a turnaround on Thursday and should adjust rosters in anticipation of a WR2/3 performance from Metcalf in Week 13.

Rashee Rice, WR, Kansas City Chiefs
Week 13 Overall Half-PPR Rankings: 57
Week 13 Wide Receiver PPR Rankings: 26

Kansas City Chiefs rookie wide receiver Rashee Rice is coming off the best game of his first year in the NFL -- an eight-catch, 107-yard, one-touchdown performance -- and has become "Patrick Friendly," according to head coach Andy Reid, referring to the chemistry he's built with quarterback Patrick Mahomes.

Week 12 was the first time all year that a Chiefs receiver had more than five receptions or 100 yards in a game. Rice's five TDs in 2023 are tied with tight end Travis Kelce for the team-high. When targeting Rice this year, Mahomes has completed 79.2% of his throws, averaged 9.6 yards per attempt, and has thrown five TDs and no picks, boasting a 138 passer rating when targeting Rice. The rookie is the clear top target for Mahomes behind Kelce.

Diontae Johnson, WR, Pittsburgh Steelers
Week 13 Overall Half-PPR Rankings: 50
Week 13 Wide Receiver PPR Rankings: 23

Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Diontae Johnson apologized to his teammates and the media for his lack of effort on a loose ball on running back Jaylen Warren's fumble in the Week 12 win over the Cincinnati Bengals. "That's not me as a player," Johnson said. "One play doesn't define me, never will. I didn't come up playing football like that, so obviously, it looks bad on film. From here on out, just going forward, just be smart, keep playing 'til the whistle blows."

Johnson expects to start this Sunday against the Arizona Cardinals despite the lack of effort last week. The 27-year-old had a nice three-week stretch from Weeks 7-9, where he had 20 catches for 254 yards and a touchdown, but in the last three games, he's gone for only seven catches on 20 targets for 83 scoreless yards. He'll have a nice matchup to bounce back in this Sunday against Arizona.
