Be sure to check all of our fantasy football rankings for 2025:

Ja'Marr Chase Injury Update

Ja'Marr Chase suffered a back injury during last week's win over the Buffalo Bills when he came down hard on a high-point catch. The Bengals' top wideout practiced in a limited fashion this week and was officially labeled as questionable by Cincinnati on Friday.

With Tee Higgins out and Chase at less than 100%, Tyler Boyd and Trenton Irwin will need to step up in their place against a Texans team that dropped nearly 40 points on Tampa Bay last week. Boyd is a solid flex option, while Irwin is more of a deep league play. Chase should be considered a low-end WR1 due to playing at what will likely be less than 100%.

Stefon Diggs Injury Update

Stefon Diggs popped up on Friday's injury report, listed as limited with a back injury. The star receiver has no injury designation since the game is on Monday night, but fantasy managers will need to monitor Saturday's practice report to see if Diggs was able to upgrade his practice participation to full.

Diggs' absence would be a massive blow for the entire Buffalo offense. Gabe Davis would operate as the No. 1 option on the outside, while Khalil Shakir and tight end Dalton Kincaid would absorb most of the short-yardage targets. If active, fantasy managers should not hesitate to start Diggs but monitor Saturday reports to ensure you have a pivot option if he lands the questionable tag for Monday night.

Tee Higgins Injury Update

Tee Higgins suffered a hamstring injury in practice this past Wednesday and has not been able to return to practice since. There is still no clear indication of how long the Bengals' No. 2 receiver will be out, but Cincinnati ruled Higgins out for Sunday's game against the Houston Texans on Friday.

Ja'Marr Chase (back) is likely not going to be at 100% for this game as well, so the ancillary pieces like Tyler Boyd and Trenton Irwin will need to step up against Houston. Boyd will enter flex territory, while Irwin will be more of a deep league or dynasty shot in the dark or dart throw in DFS.

Justin Jefferson Injury Update

Justin Jefferson had his 21-day activation window opened this week after suffering a hamstring injury in Week 5 against Kansas City. The star receiver has been able to put in limited practice participation this past week and was officially listed as questionable for Sunday's game against New Orleans on Friday.

Head coach Kevin O'Connell said that it would "be a bit aggressive" to bring Jefferson back earlier in the week, but maybe the top-tier receiver showed enough this week to be activated. Fantasy managers should plan to be without him, but if active, no one should be leaving Jefferson on their bench this weekend.

Nico Collins Injury Update

Nico Collins suffered a calf injury in last week's win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Even though he did some work Wednesday, the Texans' top wideout has been listed as a non-participant in practice all week. He has been ruled out of this week's game against the Cincinnati Bengals.

It is a big blow not just for fantasy managers but the Texans' offense as they try to overcome the favored Bengals, who are on a four-game win streak. Tank Dell seems to be the biggest beneficiary and should operate as C.J. Stroud's top option after earning 11 targets last week. Noah Brown becomes a flex option after his big game as well. There is no timetable for Collins, so be sure to check injury reports next week before assuming this is a one-week absence.

Josh Downs Injury Update

Josh Downs dealt with a knee injury last week but was able to suit up against the Carolina Panthers. However, the rookie exited the game early after re-aggravating the injury and has missed practice all week. With that said, the Colts are listing him as questionable for Sunday's game against the Patriots in Germany.

It is tough to imagine Downs suiting up after not being able to practice all week, but the good news for fantasy managers is they should know with more than enough time to pivot off of him. Alec Pierce (ankle) is also listed as questionable, meaning we will likely see a more run-centric offense with plenty of targets for Michael Pittman Jr.

Demario Douglas Injury Update

Demario Douglas picked up an ankle injury in last week's game against the Washington Commanders. The rookie has been limited in practice this week, and New England officially listed him as questionable for Sunday's game against the Colts on Friday.

With DeVante Parker (concussion) already ruled out and Kendrick Bourne on IR, the team needs Douglas to suit up to stand a chance against Indianapolis. If active, consider the rookie a solid flex, even if he will see most of the attention from the Colts' defense.

K.J. Osborn Injury Update

K.J. Osborn took a nasty hit to the head in last week's game against the Atlanta Falcons and never returned after being diagnosed with a concussion. With such a scary hit, it was nice to see the veteran return to practice in a limited fashion. The Vikings listed him officially as questionable for Sunday's game against the New Orleans Saints.

There is a chance Minnesota plays it safe and allows their No. 2 receiver to rest this week, but it would leave the team down to Jordan Addison and deep backups at the wide receiver position if he and Justin Jefferson (hamstring) sit out. Addison remains a solid WR2 while Osborn would be a low-end flex it active.

Curtis Samuel Injury Update

Curtis Samuel has been dealing with a toe injury that held him out of last week's game against the New England Patriots. Even though the 27-year-old was able to make it through the week as a limited practice participant, the Commanders listed him as questionable for Sunday's game against the Seattle Seahawks on Friday.

The matchup against the Seahawks would make Samuel a decent flex option if active. However, if he is held out, then Terry McLaurin and Jahan Dotson become even more valuable options in Week 10. Tight end Logan Thomas should see his target share get a bump as well if Samuel sits out.

Michael Wilson Injury Update

Michael Wilson suffered a shoulder injury in Week 8 that forced him to sit out last week's game against the Cleveland Browns. The rookie was able to return to practice in a limited fashion all week but Arizona officially listed him as questionable for Sunday's game against the Falcons.

With quarterback Kyler Murray set to make his 2023 debut, it would be nice for fantasy managers to see Wilson's connection with the Cardinals passer. However, if Wilson is out, it will be a boost for Marquise Brown, Rondale Moore, and Trey McBride. Consider Wilson a low-end flex if active.

Zay Jones Injury Update

Zay Jones has been battling his way back from a knee injury that he suffered in Week 5 against the Buffalo Bills. The 28-year-old returned to the practice field this past week in a limited fashion but is set to miss another week of action this Sunday against the San Francisco 49ers.

Christian Kirk and Calvin Ridley will continue to operate as the top options for quarterback Trevor Lawrence and are both great fantasy options this week. The 49ers allow the sixth-most fantasy points per game to wide receivers, so expect a heavy target share for Kirk and Ridley.

Treylon Burks Injury Update

Treylon Burks suffered a concussion in last week's loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers. The second-year receiver has not participated in practice in any capacity this past week and was ruled out for Sunday's game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers by the Titans on Friday.

DeAndre Hopkins will be peppered with targets by rookie quarterback Will Levis against a defense that just allowed C.J. Stroud to throw five touchdowns against them. Kyle Philips could be a sneaky option in DFS lineups, but no one outside of Hopkins will be a recommended option in redraft leagues in Week 10.

Robert Woods Injury Update

Robert Woods has been out since Week 8 due to a foot injury. The veteran receiver was projected to miss a couple of weeks but worked his way back to full practice participation on Friday. Houston listed him officially as questionable for Sunday's game against the Cincinnati Bengals.

Woods' presence would be a nice boost for the Texans' offense which will be without top target Nico Collins (calf) for the first time this year. Fantasy managers in redraft leagues should not look to thrust him into their lineups due to Collins' absence, as Tank Dell and Noah Brown will likely operate as the top two options with Collins out.

Alec Pierce Injury Update

Alec Pierce suffered an ankle injury in last week's win over the Carolina Panthers and was unable to haul in either of his two targets. The second-year receiver was able to get back to full practice participation on Friday, but the Colts officially listed him as questionable for Sunday's game against the New England Patriots in Germany.

With Josh Downs (knee) likely to miss after zero practice participation this week, the Colts could put Pierce into a more prominent role. A boost in targets would not make Pierce a great flex option this week, but he would be more viable in DFS lineups. Michael Pittman Jr. is set for a massive target share regardless of Pierce being active.

DeVante Parker Injury Update

DeVante Parker sat out of last week's game against Washington due to a concussion that he suffered in Week 8 against the Miami Dolphins. The Patriots ruled the veteran receiver out for Sunday's game against the Colts in Germany on Thursday.

Parker's role would not have likely been a fantasy-relevant one with Demario Douglas (ankle), Hunter Henry, and Rhamondre Stevenson leading the way as top pass catchers. However, his absence will lead to fantasy managers having more confidence in those options this week against a beatable Colts secondary.
