Philadelphia Phillies shortstop Trea Turner (elbow) participated in the wild-card pre-series workout Monday and is ready to play on Tuesday against the Marlins, per The Philadelphia Inquirer's Scott Lauber. Turner was hit by a pitch in Saturday's game against the Mets, but manager Rob Thomson said Monday, "He's fine, he'll be in the lineup." The 30-year-old relied on a strong second half to bring his total slash line to a respectable .266/.320/.459 with 26 home runs, 76 RBI, and 30 stolen bases in 691 plate appearances.--Connelly Doan - RotoBallerRead More News
