As expected, running back Myles Gaskin will rejoin the Minnesota Vikings after being released by the team on Friday. It was expected all along that the Vikings would bring back Gaskin as they released him originally for salary reasons. The 26-year-old will return to the team and be elevated to the active roster ahead of the Week 1 matchup against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. It appears Gaskin is going to be the third back on the roster behind Alexander Mattison and Ty Chandler. That being said, there probably isn't going to be a huge role for Gaskin right away. Possibly, Gaskin gets mixed in on passing downs, but probably won't have fantasy value with Mattison healthy.--Andy Webb
