Gerrit Cole Bounces Back In Dominating Fashion

New York Yankees starting pitcher Gerrit Cole was in ace form Friday night against the Tampa Bay Rays. Cole gave up two runs, one earned on three hits with zero walks and 11 strikeouts. He lowered his ERA to 2.95 on the season in the process. Arguably the best pitcher in the American League, Cole needed a nice outing after giving up six runs his last time on the mound against Boston. The Cy Young favorite moved to 11-4 on the season. He'll get a nice matchup next week against the Tigers at Comerica Park
