Tyler Reddick will start the Crayon 301 from the sixth position. Reddick easily made it into the final group of qualifying. However, he lost a few tenths of a second in Turns 3 and 4. That left him a mere 0.116 seconds off the pole run of Christopher Bell. He was the third of four Toyota cars to qualify in the top eight. Reddick showed in two of his three appearances that he could get to the front. He even netted a tenth in 2020. Reddick and his 23XI Racing car are faster than anything he had a Richard Childress Racing for this event. The question may be more handling than anything else. Reddick's car was tight late in qualifying.--Chris Wassel - RotoBaller
