Mitch Garver Takes Batting Practice Friday
Mitch Garver (knee) took batting practice on Friday. The 32-year-old played only six games this season, going 5-for-19 with six RBI and two homers. However, he injured his left knee on April 8, with an MRI revealing a significant sprain. That said, Garver has recently increased his activity level and hopes to return in the next few weeks. But until he's back on the field, Jonah Heim and Sandy Leon should split time behind the dish.
