According to Matt Barrows of The Athletic, the 49ers are unlikely to exercise the fifth-year option on defensive tackle Javon Kinlaw, which would pay him over $10 million in 2024-25. The 25-year-old was taken with the No. 14 pick in the 2020 NFL Draft. Since then, he's totaled 45 tackles, 1.5 sacks, and 1.0 interceptions in three seasons. However, he's appeared in only 24 games during his career, including missing most of last season because of a knee issue. Nevertheless, it will be a make-it-or-break-it year for Kinlaw, who may have one more chance in San Francisco to prove he can stay healthy.--Dennis Clausen - RotoBaller
