DeMar DeRozan Guides Bulls Past Jazz
2 years agoChicago Bulls forward DeMar DeRozan scored 15 fourth-quarter points and had 35 points overall as the team beat Utah 126-118 on home court Saturday night. He formed a superb one-two punch with Zach LaVine, who had six triples and a game-high 36 points, and the Jazz couldn't hang with the hosts until the end. DeRozan shot 13-for-22 from the field and 9-for-10 at the charity stripe, wrapping up his line with two rebounds and seven assists. The veteran star is having a really nice season in 2022-23, averaging 26.4 points, 5.1 rebounds and 5.0 assists. He has even had a pair of 40-point outbursts in recent games, and DeRozan's hot form is one of the biggest reasons why the Bulls are streaking. The team will enter Monday's big clash with Boston on an 8-3 run.
