Welcome to the Week 14 slate of the NFL Season! Each week, I'll be bringing you our famous NFL DFS Cheat Sheet with expert research and picks for cash games and GPPs. Here are a few notes about the sheet.
- I will now be using data exclusively from 2022!
- The "fantasy points allowed rank" reflects how a player's opponent ranked in fantasy points allowed to their specific position. The lower the number, the better the matchup.
- DVOA is a stat created by Football Outsiders that stands for Defense-adjusted Value Over Average and takes into account the quality of the previous offensive opponents. This rating is being shown for both the offensive player's team and their opponent.
- A play labeled "cash" is a higher-owned play that is recommended for cash games. A "strong" play is playable in all formats. "Slate-breakers" are some of my favorite GPP targets for upside or reduced ownership.
- Vegas and risk columns will all be updated during the week to reflect injury info, weather info, and the most recent Vegas info.

Deeper GPP Flyers
This is where I want to give you some other players who will be in my player pool, who didn't make the cut for the cheat sheet. The main recommended plays are always going to be geared more toward cash games and single-entry tournaments, but here are some lower-owned options for large-field tournaments.
QB: The Big Three (Mahomes, Hurts, Allen) could all go off if you want to pay up or stack them with pass catchers.
RB: Christian McCaffrey, D'Onta Foreman, Latavius Murray, Rachaad White (if Fournette out)
WR: Stefon Diggs, DK Metcalf, Tyler Lockett, Zay Jones, Robert Woods, Kendall Hinton
TE: Pat Freiermuth, Evan Engram, Austin Hooper, Chig Okonkwo
DEFENSE: Carolina, NYJ, Bucs, Steelers (cash), Cowboys
Week 14 DFS Slate Notes
It's a really ugly slate this week, but that certainly doesn't mean we can't still make some profit.
The MIN-DET game is a priority for me in all formats. At 51.5 points (and I think that total could be low) it's almost a full touchdown ahead of the rest of the pack as the Browns-Bengals is a distant second at 46. In cash this week, my recipe is simple. I want 3-4 pieces of that game + a Dallas running back + value plays and I am okay with eating chalk at TE with Greg Dulcich on DK.
We actually don't have too many last-minute injury designations holding us hostage this week (for once). Saquon Barkley is questionable, but I'm not on him this week or his replacement if he were to sit. DK Metcalf and Kenneth Walker are also questionable for Seattle. If Metcalf sits, then Lockett is a guy I would up my exposure to in GPPs but he's not necessarily a must in cash. Walker I bet doesn't play and I'd rather invest in the Seattle passing game anyway.
Amari Cooper has a Q-tag, but I expect him to play and I like this spot for him, too. Leonard Fournette was downgraded to questionable, which could open the door for Rachaad White (at least on DK in a full PPR format) to be a decent play this week.
Diontae Johnson is the last guy I will mention and I'm not all that interested in Pittsburgh receivers this week anyway.
The main theme here is that most of those guys don't move the needle too much his week and I think you can build your lineups right now with some confidence without any of them in your player pool.
FAVORITE GAME STACKS:
MIN-DET: Goff/Cousins - Cook/Swift-St. Brown/Chark/Thielen/Jefferson/Hockenson (stack it up every which way!)
CIN-CLE: Burrow-Mixon-Chase/Higgins/Cooper/Njoku
NYJ-BUF: White-Wilson-Diggs (contrarian)
