Craig Rondinone's fantasy football tight end waiver wire pickups for Week 14 of the 2022 NFL season. His free agent TEs to add, stream and stash off waivers.
Week 14 will allow plenty of NFL players to rest up for the home stretch. That might be great for them and their teams, but it is not great for fantasy football general managers who will need to fill several voids in their lineups this week.
A half-dozen teams are on bye for Week 14. Fantasy managers will miss New Orleans’ Juwan Johnson, Atlanta’s Kyle Pitts, and Chicago’s Cole Kmet, among other tight ends. With fantasy leagues entering a crucial week that could decide playoff spots and postseason positioning, this is not the week to be short a tight end.
Without further ado, here are the best tight end waiver wire pickups for Week 14, starting with one of the few Denver Broncos players with any fantasy value at all!

Top Tight Ends to Pickup - Week 14 Waiver Wire
Greg Dulcich, Denver Broncos
The Denver Broncos offense is unwatchable. Russell Wilson is playing like he forgot how to read defenses, throw spirals, and run when there are 20 yards of open space in front of him. Receivers Courtland Sutton and Jerry Jeudy have talent but no fantasy value whatsoever. Dulcich, the long-haired rookie tight end, might be the one Bronco for fantasy managers to hang their helmets on. Because fantasy managers need and expect less from their tight ends than their wide receivers, Dulcich has value because of the position he plays.
Dulcich has a very positive schedule ahead of him. Home games against Kansas City and Arizona and a road game at the Los Angeles Rams, three teams with pass defenses ranked 22nd or worse, should make him a favorable play in all three instances. The kid is coming off a game where he hauled in six passes for 85 yards and should continue to post solid numbers despite the dysfunction surrounding him.
Other Tight Ends to Consider Adding
Evan Engram, Jacksonville Jaguars
Give Engram credit. He can take advantage of a porous pass defense. He caught five passes for 30 yards and a touchdown against Detroit’s hapless defense, and now this week he gets to run routes against Tennessee’s hopeless pass defense (ranked 31st in the NFL). I cannot commit to Engram being your answer at tight end for the rest of the season, but I think he is a super plug-in-and-play guy for this week.
Foster Moreau, Las Vegas Raiders
Moreau is working on a six-game streak of 30 receiving yards or more and has two touchdowns over that stretch. If your fantasy squad is stacked at quarterback, running back, and receiver and just need a tight end that will not post a zero, Moreau should be fine for you.
Tyler Conklin, New York Jets
Conklin really let me down after I sang his praises in last week’s column. He laid an egg against Minnesota that should have been scrambled immediately (two catches for nine yards). I still like Conklin more than most available tight ends, though, since Mike White is now his QB and his games in Weeks 15 and 16 versus Detroit and Jacksonville are extremely fantasy-friendly.
Hunter Henry, New England Patriots
When it comes to Henry, you could do better, and you could do worse. He can only be relied on so much because of the inconsistency of New England’s offense and Mac Jones’ play under center. Henry should be a consideration for a one-week play because he is facing an Arizona defense allowing 245 passing yards per game.
Noah Fant, Seattle Seahawks
Fant has 15 receptions for 206 yards and a TD over Seattle’s last four contests. He has been able to do enough to justify being on a fantasy roster even though wideouts Tyler Lockett and DK Metcalf have been scintillating lately and racking up yards and scores. It is nice that Fant finally has a QB who can get him the ball. It is just amazing that the QB turned out to be Geno Smith.
Do Not Forget About…
Isaiah Likely, Baltimore Ravens
Likely returned from a short stint on the sidelines to catch four short passes for 30 yards versus the Denver Broncos. Likely’s fantasy ceiling is stunted due to Mark Andrews being his teammate and target taker, but he has two touchdowns in his last four games and could be someone to pick and stick on your roster if you are in a dynasty league.
Taysom Hill, New Orleans Saints
If you can exploit your league’s system and use Hill as a tight end, pick him up and hope he runs plenty of plays out of the Wildcat formation in Week 15. That’s right – Week 15. Hill is on bye this week, so only consider him if you love his matchup against Atlanta’s below-average defense in two weeks.
Austin Hooper, Tennessee Titans
Hooper averaged five targets per game over the last month and has two touchdowns during that span. Even better, he faces a Jacksonville defense this week that is ranked 29th against the pass and just made Detroit’s Jared Goff look like a Hall of Famer.
Brevin Jordan, Houston Texans
Jordan had six catches leading up to Week 13 before delivering his best game of the season with four receptions for 46 yards against the Cleveland Browns. Jordan Akins still seems to be Houston’s top tight end, but there is a chance the Texans try to implement this Jordan more often into the passing attack from here on out.
