Boston Bruins defenseman Charlie McAvoy (shoulder) was seen practicing in a regular jersey on Monday, which is a sign that he might be game-ready soon. The team has even announced that he will be among the traveling party when the Bruins head out for a three-game road trip this week, although it has also been said that McAvoy won't be playing in any of the games. The 24-year-old had surgery on his left shoulder in June and was expected to be back around Thanksgiving or early December. It now looks like he could return sooner, as it happened last week with Brad Marchand, who was back in action weeks ahead of schedule. There must be something in the water in Boston. McAvoy had a big 56-point campaign last term, and he should be a major force again for fantasy managers in 2022-23 once he's back in the lineup.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
