The San Francisco 49ers released cornerback Darqueze Dennard on Monday. Dennard played in just two games last year, one with the New York Giants and one with San Francisco. Dennard was originally the 24th overall pick by the Cincinnati Bengals in 2014 out of Michigan State, and he spent six solid seasons with the Bengals before playing with the Atlanta Falcons in 2020. The 30-year-old hasn't played in double-digit games in a season since his second-to-last season in Cincinnati in 2018. Dennard will be hoping to latch on with another cornerback-needy team before the start of the 2022 regular season.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerRead More News
