Kurt Busch and his No. 45 car were fast late in the race and nearly pulled off a win at Atlanta on Sunday. He ran consecutive sub-30-second laps at the end to close within a quarter of a second. His third-place finish was impressive given that the elder Busch only led four laps and at times looked a little out of contention. He kept fighting and again found that late speed and acceleration. Busch was sixth after Stage 1, dropped out of the top 10, then roared back late. The 23XI Racing driver is an intriguing option next week at Austin.--Chris Wassel - RotoBaller
