Rams Keeping Joe Noteboom
3 years agoThe Los Angeles Rams agreed to a three-year deal with a base value of $40 million with offensive tackle Joe Noteboom on Monday, according to sources. The deal includes $25 million guaranteed with a maximum value of $47.5 million. With veteran left tackle Andrew Whitworth leaning toward retirement after winning the Super Bowl, Noteboom is expected to replace him as the starting left tackle on quarterback Matthew Stafford's blind side. The 26-year-old suffered a pectoral strain in the playoff win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, but he should be fine for the 2022 season. He's also extremely versatile with the ability to play both tackle and guard.
