Braelon Allen NFL Draft Prediction
ROUND PREDICTION: Fourth Round
BEST TEAM FITS: Carolina Panthers, Buffalo Bills, Dallas Cowboys
PROSPECT ANALYSIS: Braelon Allen from Wisconsin is the true wild card of this year's class. A massive running back at 6-foot-1 and 235 pounds, Allen is a converted linebacker who is still just 20 years old. He opted out of the 40-yard dash, short shuttle, and 3-cone drills at the NFL Combine, leaving a lot of mixed reviews about him. Allen had 26 reps on the bench press, the second most among running backs.

Allen rushed 595 times for 3,482 yards (5.8 YPC) with 35 TDs in his college career, but his nine career fumbles are a cause for concern. Given how much smaller NFL defenses have become, especially with most teams having at least five defensive backs on the field at all times, one can't help but wonder if a player like Allen could become a force as a downhill runner in the right offense.
Audric Estime NFL Draft Prediction
ROUND PREDICTION: Fourth Round
BEST TEAM FITS: Las Vegas Raiders, Los Angeles Rams, New York Giants
PROSPECT ANALYSIS: Notre Dame running back Audric Estime is an intriguing prospect in this year's draft class, but his 4.71 40-yard dash at the 2024 NFL Combine was a concerning sign for his stock. However, NFL scouts clocked him between a 4.56 and 4.59 40-time at the school's pro day. While most NFL teams might rely on the laser time at the Combine, his improved run can only help his status and draft value. Estime rushed 210 times for 1,341 yards and caught 17 passes for 142 yards in 2023 to go along with 18 total touchdowns in his final season with the Irish.

The 221-pounder is a physical runner with burst and strength, but his speed concerns could make him fall into the late rounds. He could serve as a change-of-pace back for a shiftier running back or a bulldozer at the goal line in the NFL.
Ray Davis NFL Draft Prediction
ROUND PREDICTION: Fourth Round
BEST TEAM FITS: New York Giants, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, New England Patriots
PROSPECT ANALYSIS: Ray Davis is a 24-year-old RB prospect who started his career at Temple in 2020. He then transferred to Vanderbilt, where he earned a degree in communications. He dealt with some injuries at Vandy and decided to finish his collegiate career at Kentucky, where he ran for 1,129 yards and 14 touchdowns with a 5.7 yards per carry average last season. Davis ran 4.52 at the NFL Combine and is older than you'd like at a position with a short shelf life. He didn't produce at a high level until he was 24 at Kentucky. But there is a lot to like on film.
One of the most impressive translatable habits that will carry over to the pro game is Davis's ability to always fall forward and churn out hidden yardage. He is rarely stonewalled at first contact and will frequently contort his body to maximize yardage after contact. That could be by spinning, diving, or falling forward.
