Running Back Depth Charts for Fantasy Football

RotoBaller's NFL running back depth charts are updated constantly. Our fantasy football rankings of every team's RB situations, with running analysis on RB news and injuries.

Running backs are a critical component and core building block for all fantasy football teams. RB is one of the most volatile positions in fantasy football, and one of the highest turnover positions in the NFL. Each year, running backs drop like flies and many NFL teams make in-season changes due to injuries or poor performance. Stay on top of all RB depth charts and dominate.

We will be updating the Fantasy Football Running Back Charts continuously, all season long. Be sure to also check back for these quick-hit notes, a running list of RB updates from @_PhilClark summarizing the most recent injuries and player news for fantasy football:

  • 9.9.19 - Tevin Coleman could miss multiple games due to an ankle injury. Matt Breida, Raheem Mostert and Jeff Wilson Jr. would likely share touches if Coleman is absent.
  • 9.9.19 - Derrius Guice is going to miss an unspecified number of games due to a knee issue. This injury occurred to his right knee, which is not the knee that was impacted by injury during 2018.
  • 9.8.19 - Adrian Peterson is officially inactive for Washington's season opener with Philadelphia.
  • 9.8.19LeSean McCoy is active, and will make his debut as a Chief in Jacksonville.
  • 9.4.19 - Ezekiel Elliott owners can now breathe a collective sigh of relief, as the Cowboys and Elliott have agreed on a 6-year, $90M extension. This is obviously tremendous news for anyone who has Elliott on their rosters. However, Tony Pollard owners should not drop the talented rookie from their teams, as he could sustain a role during the season.
  • 9.2.19 - Ezekiel Elliott and the Cowboys have not agreed on a new contract, despite increased optimism that this would transpire over Labor Day Weekend. However, this could still occur at any time.
  • 9.2.19 - There is nothing new regarding Melvin Gordon. This means that it is now likely that his holdout will linger into the regular season. Unless a trade eventually ensues.
  • 9.2.19 - The Ravens have released Kenneth Dixon, who is contending with a fractured knee. Dixon has already been sidelined for a total of 30 games since entering the league in 2016.
