Xavier Worthy, Rashee Rice, Marquise Brown - 2024 Fantasy Football Wide Receiver Outlooks

Rashee Rice - Fantasy Football Rankings, NFL wr, Draft Sleepers

What should you expect in fantasy football for the Kansas City Chiefs wide receivers? Abby provides outlooks for Xavier Worthy, Rashee Rice, and Marquise Brown.

The Kansas City Chiefs are coming off back-to-back Super Bowl titles. Despite having a subpar offense, Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs offense were able to get the job done and are ready to create history this upcoming season by going for a three-peat, which would be the first in NFL history in the Super Bowl era.

The Chiefs added wide receivers like Marquise Brown and Xavier Worthy this offseason to bolster their offense around wide receiver Rashee Rice and tight end Travis Kelce. Having fast wideouts like Brown and Worthy will bring the best out of Mahomes and keep the opposition defenses on their toes throughout the year.

Which Chiefs wide receiver will be the best addition to your fantasy football team this season? In the paragraphs below, we will take a look at the fantasy outlooks of Worthy, Rice, and Brown, to help you to make the right decision in fantasy football drafts.

Be sure to check all of our fantasy football rankings for 2025:

Xavier Worthy 2024 Fantasy Football Outlook

The Chiefs traded up in the first round of the 2024 NFL Draft and drafted Worthy with the 28th overall pick. During the 2024 NFL Combine, the Texas product set the record for the fastest 40-yard dash at 4.21 seconds.

He has the potential to become a valuable player for the franchise and can have a similar impact as Tyreek Hill due to his blazing speed. Worthy will likely start the season as the Chiefs' WR3 but will see plenty of action on the field. He can score a long touchdown on any given play.

In 39 games for Texas during his college career, Worthy had 197 receptions for 2,755 yards and 26 touchdowns while averaging 14.0 yards per reception. Worthy will be a good addition to your team; however, it may take some time for him to produce consistently for fantasy.

Rashee Rice 2024 Fantasy Football Outlook

The Chiefs drafted Rice with the 55th overall pick in last year's draft, and the SMU product surprised everyone with how good he was during his rookie season.

During a year where the Chiefs' wide receivers didn't play particularly well, Rice was consistent and played a huge role in their Super Bowl win. He will be the team's WR1 to start the season, and although Rice had some trouble off the field during the offseason, he is unlikely to face any disciplinary action as there is potential for his case to stretch into the 2025 league year.

Rice had 79 receptions for 938 yards and seven touchdowns in 16 games for the Chiefs during the 2023 regular season. During the playoffs, the 24-year-old receiver had 26 catches for 262 yards and one touchdown in four games. Rice is expected to leap this year, and due to the presence of Worthy and Brown, he will be much more open on the underneath routes. As a result, Rice should be able to record over 1,000 receiving yards this upcoming NFL season and is set to far surpass his current ADP as many fantasy football drafters are worried about him being suspended. That said, fantasy managers should keep their eyes peeled for updates on his legal troubles.

Marquise Brown 2024 Fantasy Football Outlook

After two seasons with the Arizona Cardinals, Brown signed a one-year, $7 million deal with the Chiefs this offseason. He will start the season as the team's WR2 and is projected to have a similar contribution as JuJu Smith-Schuster had in 2022, i.e., perform for the Chiefs and sign a big deal next offseason.

Due to quarterback Kyler Murray's injury, Brown was never able to prosper in Arizona. However, now that he has Mahomes as his quarterback, the former Ravens and Cardinals receiver could play up to his potential and secure a big deal next year.

Brown's best season was in 2021 where he put up 91 receptions for 1,008 yards and six touchdowns in 16 games with Lamar Jackson as his quarterback. Chiefs head coach Andy Reid will get the best out of him, and he'll be put in positions to succeed. Brown could be used as a flex option in certain weeks on your fantasy football teams, but his best value for fantasy football likely comes in best ball formats due to his boom-or-bust nature as a receiver.

It's scary to think about how the Chiefs won the last two Super Bowls despite trading away star receiver Tyreek Hill. With an already solid defense behind him, Patrick Mahomes heads into the 2024 season with plenty of offensive reinforcements at his disposal, and that is a scary thought for the 31 other teams.
