World Cup Soccer DFS Lineup Picks for DraftKings (Saturday Dec. 4) - MatchDay 14

World Cup Soccer DFS lineup picks for DraftKings for 12/4/22 on Matchday 14. These are the top daily fantasy soccer forwards, midfielders, defenders, and goalkeepers.

Welcome back to a special version of “The Kick-Off”, World Cup Edition! We are here for MatchDay 14 of the tournament and the second round of the Group of 16 matches.

Today’s slate will feature two clubs who have been successful in various ways throughout their history with France notably winning the World Cup in 2018. This slate will center around a French stack, however, it may be more sensible to have a balanced approach as this slate could be low scoring.

The DraftKings World Cup DFS Soccer contests lock at 10:00 am ET for the 12/4/22 slate. Make sure to get your lineups in early. Also, don't forget to check out the rest of our World Cup coverage on Rotoballer with team and match previews, along with our betting and DFS advice. If you have any further questions or want to chat about the World Cup, feel free to reach out to me on Twitter @df_solutions.

DraftKings DFS Goalkeepers

Wojciech Szczesny- DK $3.6K

Opponent - France

Despite going against the reigning World Cup champions, Szczesny may very well be one of the top-owned keepers on the small slate. Szczesny has been a brick wall this tournament and undoubtedly deserves the Golden Glove award thus far, making 18 saves and conceding just twice through 3 Group Stage matches – 2 of those 18 saves were from the spot –. Whether France scores or not, they should fire plenty of shots, giving Szczesny a chance at another ceiling game.

Others To Consider (Cash/GPP): Lloris (DK $5.9K)

DraftKings DFS Forwards

Kylian Mbappe-DK $10.7K

Opponent - Poland

The face of the next generation of soccer/football will garner a fair amount of attention in this matchup. Mbappe is the head of the French attack and he has 3 goals, 1 assist, 16 shots, 6 created chances, 16 crosses and 4 corners in 3 Group Stage fixtures. The youngster could have added to his goal tally had he not butchered one of his attempts off the bench in the Tunisia loss. Nevertheless, Mbappe will be the focal point of France and he will see plenty of chances in this meeting.

Others To Consider (CASH/GPP): Kane (DK $8K)

DraftKings DFS Midfielders

Antoine Griezmann- DK $9.2K

Opponent - Poland

Outside of Ismalia Sarr, Griezmann is the only other validated midfielder with set-pieces on the slate. Neither Poland nor England have a guaranteed set-piece taker limiting options for a safe floor. In small slates like this, it is imperative to get a player or two with safety while playing risks elsewhere. The difference between Sarr and Griezmann is the difference in team quality. Griezmann will be setting up the likes of Oliver Giroud, Kylian Mbappe and Ousmane Dembele, who are all incredibly talented players. During the Group Stage, Griezmann had 1 assist, 5 shots, 11 created chances, 18 crosses, 16 corners, 7 tackles and 3 interceptions.

Others To Consider (CASH/GPP): Sarr (DK $6.8K)

DraftKings DFS Defenders

Luke Shaw- DK $6.1K

Opponent - Senegal

Shaw has been a revolving topic of discussion at the domestic level for Manchester United over the past years due to streaky play. However, Shaw seems to never miss a beat playing for the Three Lions. He also seems to be one of the consistent producers for England, tallying 1 assist, 1 shot, 5 created chances, 14 crosses, 3 corners, 1 tackle and 2 interceptions during the Group Stage. His salary has jumped higher than many may want to pay for which could see his ownership dip, giving more leverage if he makes the lineup. Senegal will not back down in this meeting, keeping Shaw plenty busy on the left flank.

Others To Consider (CASH/GPP): Jakobs (DK $4.3K)
