WNBA Daily Fantasy Lineup Picks, Betting Picks (5/31/22): WNBA DFS Advice for DraftKings and FanDuel, Best Bets

WNBA dfs lineup picks daily fantasy basketball stock

Justin Carter's top daily fantasy WNBA lineup picks and betting picks for 5/31/22. Expert WNBA DFS advice for DraftKings and FanDuel and today's best bets.

We've got a big night of WNBA action, with four games on the docket. Phoenix takes on Chicago and Washington faces Indiana in the first set of games, with Connecticut/Vegas and Dallas/Los Angeles to follow.

I'll be providing daily fantasy lineup picks for the WNBA this season here at RotoBaller. In addition, I'll be sprinkling in some basic betting picks. Not going to get complicated since there's limited space in this piece, but I'll throw you a bet or two each day that I like and, because I think this is important, that I'll be making myself.

In this article, I'll be providing you with some daily fantasy WNBA lineup picks for DraftKings and FanDuel on 5/31/22. These lineups picks will range from elite players to mid-priced options and value plays. The slate locks on 5/31/2022 at 7:00 p.m. ET. Want to talk more about the WNBA? I'm always available on Twitter and always down to discuss women's basketball: @juscarts.

WNBA DFS Lineup Picks: Forwards

Elena Delle Donne (Washington Mystics) - @ IND - DK: $10,400, FD: $8,000

The Fever allow 89.6 points per game, the most in the W. Teams shoot 37.8% from three against them. Delle Donne has missed some time for rest this season, but in the six games that she's played, she's averaging 29.2 minutes, with 17.7 points, 6.5 rebounds, 2.2 assists, 1.3 blocks and 0.8 steals per game on 48.7% shooting. She's hitting 37.9% from deep. Not quite the 50/40/90 season she had last time she was fully healthy, but still good numbers. She had 21 points and nine boards when she faced Indiana earlier this year.

NaLyssa Smith (Indiana Fever) - vs WAS - DK: $7,600, FD: $6,500

Smith returned against Los Angeles after missing four games with an ankle injury and it didn't look like she missed a beat. In 25 minutes, Smith went 6-for-13 with 17 points and was 3-for-4 from three. She added five rebounds, one assist, one block and one steal as well. The Mystics boast a good defense, but Smith's undervalued right now after missing time. She was up to $8,700 on DraftKings before the injury.

Satou Sabally (Dallas Wings) - @ LA - DK: $6,200, FD: $5,500

After playing sparingly in her first two games back, the Wings finally let Sabally loose in a big loss to Connecticut, playing her 30 minutes. She was 6-for-16 with 18 points and also added four rebounds, two assists and one block. Sabally has the potential to be Dallas' best player, provided she keeps getting the minutes to prove it. If her efficiency rises back to where it was last year when she shot 41.8% from the floor, then she'll start to provide some real fantasy value soon. Maybe even as soon as now, as the Sparks allow the third-most points and the fourth-highest field goal percentage.

WNBA DFS Lineup Picks: Guards

Courtney Vandersloot (Chicago Sky) - vs PHO - DK: $9,800, FD: $7,700

The Mercury are really struggling. They allow the second-most points and second-most assists per game. That's good news for Vandersloot, who should be able to exploit this defense and rack up the assists. The league's best passer has two points/assists double-doubles this season and if I could bet on it, I'd bet on her getting her third on Tuesday. Also of note: she has five or more rebounds in three consecutive games. Vandersloot triple-double watch, maybe? 👀

Chelsea Gray (Las Vegas Aces) -vs CON - DK: $8,200, FD: $6,000

Gray is becoming the forgotten guard in Vegas. Jackie Young and Kelsey Plum are getting so much of the attention when it comes to how this team is succeeding, but Gray has provided steady minutes. Maybe she isn't playing as much as you'd like, but Gray can consistently give you 14 points and five assists per night, with the occasional game where she surpasses those numbers. She's also had at least one steal in seven consecutive games. Vegas has a tough matchup against the Sun on Tuesday, which is part of why I like Gray, as we can expect that she'll be on the higher end in terms of minutes because of the importance of this matchup.

Victoria Vivians (Indiana Fever) - vs WAS - DK: $7,800, FD: $5,700

I was worried that the change in coaching would lead to Vivians losing minutes. But after one game, it appears I was wrong to be worried, as she played 32 minutes against the Sparks, finishing with 17 points on 6-for-12 shooting. She was 2-for-5 from deep and added six rebounds, four assists and one block. It was the second game in a row with 30-plus fantasy points for Vivians.

WNBA Betting Picks for 5/31/2022

Looking to make some WNBA bets? Let's look at some options for you.

Yesterday's Results: 1-1

Chicago Sky Spread (-9)

The Mercury lost to Atlanta 81-54. They lost to the Aces 100-80. That's two 20+ point losses in the last three games. The team has a net rating of -10.5, while the Sky have a net rating of +6.1. Chicago's winning this game by double-digits. I know weird things can happen, but Phoenix has been atrocious lately.

Dallas Wings Spread (+1) and ML

The Sparks are favored in this game. Sure, Dallas is coming off of a loss and Los Angeles off of a win, but Dallas is 5-3 and the Sparks are 4-6. Dallas is also 4-1 on the road—yes, small sample, I know—and while Los Angeles has won two of its last three, those wins were a five-point win over the Mercury and a two-point win over the Lynx. Neither of those teams are good. Take Dallas in this one.
