Wide Receiver Matchups to Target in Week 10: Juju Smith-Schuster, Jerry Jeudy, Chris Olave

Jerry Jeudy - Fantasy Football Rankings, NFL Injury News, Draft Sleepers

Ryan's favorite WR vs. CB matchups to exploit for Week 10 of 2022 - DFS wide receivers to target on DraftKings & FanDuel. These WR/CB matchups are GPP and cash game sleepers.

Week 10 will be full of exciting and unexpected games like the NFL has given us all year. The NFL has been full of surprises between the Eagles' wild 8-0 start, and Buffalo losing to the New York Jets last week.

Hopefully, this DFS article will help you win some money while we watch our favorite teams and players this Sunday. Matchups for the wide receiver position aren't always as black and white as they can be for other positions. Receivers sometimes move around the formation or may face shadow coverage, meaning these matchups need to be broken down deeper based on that data.

Now, here are the top WR vs. CB matchups for Week 10. Use these to set season-long lineups, as well as gain a competitive edge in the DFS games. The matchup data used in this article is from PFF.

JuJu Smith-Schuster, Kansas City Chiefs

DraftKings $6000 / FanDuel $7000 - vs. Tre Herndon

Juju Smith-Schuster has been on fire lately and showing no signs of slowing down. His 325 receiving yards over the past three games lead all Chiefs pass catchers, including Travis Kelce. He has had three straight WR1 performances, going for over 100 yards in two of his last three games. Smith-Schuster has been getting very steady usage this year, seeing eight or more targets in six out of eight games.

The Chiefs will be taking on the Jaguars this week in what should be a high-scoring affair (currently the highest projected total on the slate: 51). The Jaguars' defense has given up the eighth most receptions (200) and ninth most yards (2145) this year to opposing pass catchers.

Tre Herndon will likely be the primary defender this week, who has given up a sky-high 23.1 yards per reception this year. Kadarius Toney may start to have more of a presence in the receiving game, but Smith-Schuster should still be able to put up a high-end WR2 performance this week.

Jerry Jeudy, Denver Broncos

DraftKings $5700 / FanDuel $6400 - vs. Joshua Kalu

The Denver Broncos have been a complete disaster this year, but one of the lone bright spots has been Jerry Jeudy. Going into the offseason, it was expected that Courtland Sutton would take a huge leap forward with Russell Wilson, but Jeudy is the one that got the big boost.

Jeudy has gone for over 50 yards in five straight games and will be fresh off a bye week. Joshua Kalu will be the primary defender, who currently has an abysmal 44.7 PFF coverage grade this year. Kalu has allowed 10.3 yards per reception, with the Titans' defense allowing 6.8.

Jeudy currently boasts an excellent 100.0 PFF matchup advantage against Kalu this week. Tennessee has allowed the sixth-most receptions (215) and seventh-most receiving yards (2205) this year through nine weeks. Jeudy could be in for a huge performance and should easily surpass 50 yards once again.

Chris Olave, New Orleans Saints

DraftKings $6800 / FanDuel $7500 - vs. Cameron Sutton

Chris Olave has been taking the NFL by storm and has been the most successful rookie receiver this year. Olave was considered the Saints' WR3 going into the season, with Michael Thomas and Jarvis Landry being ahead in the pecking order, but he has pretty much taken over the WR1 role.

Thomas is out for the remainder of the season, and Landry has been pretty banged up this year. Olave is coming off a six-reception, 71-yard game against the Baltimore Ravens and will have a weak Steelers defense to pick apart this week.

Pittsburgh has allowed the fifth-most passing yards this year (2218) and gave up 285 yards and four passing touchdowns to Jalen Hurts in their last game. This defense has been one to pick apart all year, and Olave should be able to put up some big numbers.

George Pickens, Pittsburgh Steelers

DraftKings $5000 / FanDuel $5600 - vs. Paulson Adebo

George Pickens has been a bit inconsistent this year but could be in for a nice comeback game this week against the Saints. Before his goose egg in Week 9 (three targets, zero receptions), he went five straight games with at least six targets. From Weeks 4-7, Pickens averaged five receptions and 68 yards per game.

Paulson Adebo will likely be the primary defender and has been a matchup to exploit. This year, Adebo is allowing 13.4 yards per reception to opposing receivers and a sky-high 143.2 passer rating to opposing quarterbacks. With Chase Claypool out of the picture, Pickens will be able to draw even more targets from Kenny Pickett and should be able to put together a nice game on Sunday.

Amon-Ra St. Brown, Detroit Lions

DraftKings $6900 / FanDuel $6900 - vs. Jaylon Johnson

Amon-Ra St. Brown has had a rough patch over the past few games after a red-hot start to the season. He averaged 7.6 receptions, 84 yards, and one touchdown per game in the first three weeks. In Weeks 5-9, however, he only averaged four receptions and 36.5 yards per game.

Week 10 could be a real turning point in the season for the young Detroit receiver. This week, St. Brown will be up against Jaylon Johnson and the Chicago Bears. In Week 9, the Bears allowed 302 receiving yards and three receiving touchdowns to the Dolphins and 250 yards and two touchdowns to the Cowboys the week prior.

Detroit having a terrible defense is a benefit to St. Brown, as they should be in a negative game script pretty early in the contest. T.J. Hockenson was traded before the deadline, which will only open up more opportunities for St. Brown. This week, he should be in a great spot; confidently fire him up in DFS.

Allen Lazard, Green Bay Packers

DraftKings $6100 / FanDuel $6700 - vs. DaRon Bland

This year, Allen Lazard has been very consistent, especially in the red zone. Lazard has scored a touchdown in five of the seven games this year and has gone for over 55 yards and/or a touchdown in every single game. He has been the undisputed WR1 for Green Bay and should see even more usage with Romeo Doubs going down with an ankle sprain.

Lazard has seen at least seven targets in five straight games and hit double-digit targets last week against Detroit. The Cowboys have a solid pass defense, but with the type of usage Lazard will get in a game that will probably see Green Bay in a negative game script, Lazard could put together a solid night and hopefully find the endzone again.
