Who Do The Miami Dolphins Play Next Season? List Of Miami's 2024 Opponents

Tyreek Hill - Fantasy Football Rankings, NFL Injury News, DFS Picks

Who do the Miami Dolphins play in the 2024 NFL season? Joey Pollizze tells you who the Miami Dolphins play next season and what will be their toughest games.

The Miami Dolphins started the 2023 season strong by going 3-0 and beating the Denver Broncos 70-20 in Week 3. They entered their Week 10 bye with a 6-3 record and atop the AFC East standings. Miami was actually in full control of the AFC East for most of the year.

That was until they blew a late lead against the Tennessee Titans in Week 14. The Dolphins went 2-3 in the final five games, which dropped them to second place in the AFC East. Miami will now play a second-place schedule during the upcoming 2024 season.

So, who do the Dolphins face in 2024? How difficult is their 2024 schedule? Let's find out.

Who Do the Miami Dolphins Face in 2024?

The full 2024 schedule hasn't been released yet, but we know who the Dolphins' opponents are. They will play eight home games and nine road games next season. Three of those home games and three of those road games will be against division opponents (New England Patriots, Buffalo Bills, and New York Jets).

Outside of those six division games, Miami will have matchups against the entire AFC South (Houston Texans, Jacksonville Jaguars, Indianapolis Colts, and Tennessee Titans) and the entire NFC West (San Francisco 49ers, Los Angeles Rams, Seattle Seahawks, and Arizona Cardinals).

The final three opponents were determined by other second-place finishers across the league. The Dolphins will play the second-place finisher in the AFC North (Cleveland Browns), AFC West (Las Vegas Raiders), and NFC North (Green Bay Packers). Those are the 17 opponents Miami will play in 2024.

How Difficult is the Dolphins' 2024 Schedule?

On paper, the Dolphins' 2024 schedule is somewhat difficult. They have seven games against playoff teams from a season ago and 10 games against teams that finished above .500 in 2023.

For starters, playing the entire AFC South and NFC West is tough. Six of those teams finished above .500, including the 49ers, Rams, Seahawks, Texans, Jaguars, and Colts. The Cardinals should also be better next season after finishing with a 4-13 record in 2023.

On top of that, they have four total division games against the Jets -- who should have Aaron Rodgers back -- and the Bills. The Dolphins also have matchups against a vicious Browns defense and an up-and-coming Packers team. There are definitely harder schedules out there for the 2024 season, but Miami does face some tough opponents next year.
