We may have seen the last of penguin waddles in 2023.
And I'm not talking about the adorable animals in Antarctica. They'll keep waddling and huddling together for warmth during the long winter months. But enough about penguins.
Jaylen Waddle's signature touchdown celebration could be put on ice, as the wideout tends to another injury. This ailment seems to be more severe than his other weekly trips to the medical tent.

Jaylen Waddle Injury Update for Fantasy Football
Initially called a shin issue, Miami coach Mike McDaniel updated Waddle's diagnosis the day after their win over the Cowboys. It's now being called a high-ankle sprain, putting the rest of the regular season in doubt.
Generally speaking, skill position players miss several weeks with high-ankle sprains. Not to say they are the same severity because we don't know that, but New England running back Rhamondre Stevenson has missed three games with a high-ankle sprain. Jacksonville quarterback Trevor Lawrence didn't miss a start with his high-ankle sprain, but mobility isn't as crucial to his game as it is for Stevenson or Waddle.
Jaylen Waddle Fantasy Football Outlook
Waddle can explode at any given moment, as long as he's healthy. With defenses primarily focusing on Tyreek Hill, Waddle often sees single coverage. He's taken advantage of that, becoming the first player in Dolphins history to have three consecutive 1,000-yard seasons.
Even if Waddle can suit up, he may not be productive. Not only could the injury hamper his play, but the Dolphins are traveling to Baltimore, who own the NFL's best defense. The Ravens allow the fewest points per game (16.3) and the sixth-fewest passing yards (193.9).
The game could determine which team gets home-field advantage throughout the AFC playoffs. If Waddle has a say, he'll surely try and give it a go. Fantasy managers, however, should be nervous about inserting the widout into lineups.
