Week 5 NFL DFS Stacks for DraftKings, FanDuel - Top Daily Fantasy Football Picks Include Lamar Jackson, Ja'Marr Chase, Josh Allen, and Nico Collins

Five Fantasy Football Overvalued Quarterbacks

Dawn's Week 5 NFL DFS stacks for FanDuel, DraftKings GPPs and the 2024 NFL season. Target these GPP stacks as daily fantasy football lineup picks and sleepers.

Welcome to Week 5 of NFL DFS stacks for DraftKings and FanDuel. It's Week 5 of the NFL season and the drama continues! Is there or is there not a cadence issue, Coach Saleh? We know Baker Mayfield brings the fun, but now he brings the wrath of Brady! What else can we expect? Let's dig in!

This article will focus on Sunday's 1 p.m. main slate for DraftKings and FanDuel. Last week, I targeted the Niners, Vikings, Commanders, and their new, dynamic rookie quarterback, Jayden Daniels. They all did well, but Jared Goff and Geno Smith had the big numbers last week.

I'll be here all season to talk stacks and strategy (@winesportstalk on X). Who do I think is due for a breakout game this week? Let's find out! These are my favorite game stacks for the NFL DFS slate on DraftKings and FanDuel, which kicks off at 1:00 p.m. EDT on Sunday, October 6.

Baltimore Ravens at Cincinnati Bengals

Everyone is putting up points against Cincinnati. Washington rushed for two scoring touchdowns and two receiving in its win over Cincinnati. Against the last three out of four teams they've played, the Bengals have allowed two receiving touchdowns each.

The Ravens are 2-2 but have won their last two games. This division game will set them up nicely for another win and a move up the ladder that is the mostly weak AFC North.

Bring-back option:

If Jackson and the Ravens jump ahead to a lead, it'll be an air raid from Joe Burrow and his wide receivers. This game's total is almost 48, and with the narrow spread, it's practically a pick'em.

Sneaky Option: Stack Joe Burrow, Ja'Marr Chase, and Tee Higgins. Burrow's ownership should be very low, even at $6.4K, and I still have faith in Joe Cool, for now.

Buffalo Bills at Houston Texans

The Bills have scored over 30 points per game this season, setting the stage for a high-scoring matchup against the 3-1 Texans. This game feels like a must-win for 3-1 Buffalo after the shellacking it took last week at the hands of the Baltimore Ravens.

After Allen's comments last week about playing with teammates who care more about the team than their stats (I'm paraphrasing), everyone is expecting a Stefon Diggs revenge game. Buffalo needs to win against a strong opponent, and after last week's loss in Baltimore, it needs a big win on the road.

Bring-back option:

Nico Collins is also a very acceptable yet super-chalky pick. If you are playing in tournaments, Tank is your guy!

San Francisco 49ers vs. Arizona Cardinals

I know what you're thinking -- this could be a chalky stack. It probably will be, but the Commanders just scored over 40 points against the Cardinals, and I don't see why Purdy and the Niners won't do the same.

The Cards are 1-3 and have allowed 11 touchdowns and 354.75 yards of total offense per game played this season.

Sneaky option: Play Brock Purdy with Jordan Mason only or with Mason and two other WRs and no one from Arizona running it back. You can use plenty of other wide receivers from other high-scoring teams: Nico Collins and Khalil Shakir, for example.

Good luck in your tournaments, and see you next week!
