Week 15 Quarterbacks: Waiver Wire Pickups, Sleepers, & Playoff Rankings

What’s up Rotoballers, and welcome to prep for week fifteen of your fantasy football playoffs. Hopefully the first round of the playoffs went well for most of you. If you’re needing a boost heading into a tougher round two matchup, I’ve got the best guys to stream this week at the QB spot. Let’s get right down to it.

Quarterback Streamers & Waiver Wire Options - Week 15

Shaun Hill – St. Louis Rams (Owned in 6% of leagues on Fleaflicker)

Editor's Note: Stay on top of your draft prep with RotoBaller’s fantasy football rankings, featuring expert analysis, ADPs, and draft insights for both PPR and non-PPR leagues.

Week Fifteen Opponent: Arizona Cardinals

BALLER MOVE: Production under center has helped the Rams to back-to-back shutout wins. Shaun Hill’s value continues to climb in my rankings, leaving him a high end QB2/low end QB1 this week.

ANALYSIS: There has been a HUGE 2% owned spike in Hill from last week to this week, and that number should continue to grow. There is no reason not to own this guy at this point if you’re struggling at QB. In his last four games, the veteran signal caller has thrown for 895 yards, six TD’s, and has eclipsed the 100 point passer rating mark three times over that span. Hill has also only thrown two INT’s over that time. Ridiculous consistency is one of the big reasons Hill has been listed here this week.

The Cardinals defense has been stout when facing the pass in the redzone, as they’ve averaged 1.42 touchdowns per game to opposing QBs on the year. This shouldn’t scare you away though, as the Cards have also given up 277.58 yards per game. This is a guy trending upward, and if you’re looking for some consistency in your lineup, Hill is your guy.

Ryan Fitzpatrick – Houston Texans - (Owned in 32% of leagues on Fleaflicker)

Week Fifteen Opponent: Indianapolis Colts

BALLER MOVE: Fitzy makes another appearance on the weekly QB article for week fifteen because the guy’s good, and he’s got weapons, and he’s got another great matchup. He's a low end QB1 again this week.

ANALYSIS: The Colts secondary is one of the worst in the NFL, but they’ve done it quietly. The offense has been able to keep up most weeks, so the defense has been handed a ton of slack. This week, Luck and the Colts face one of the tougher defenses in the NFL in the Texans. The porous Colts secondary will be on display, and Ryan Fitzpatrick will be there to capitalize.

I know you guys are probably getting sick of me telling you to grab Fitzpatrick, but if you need a QB with all the upside in the world and a very high ceiling based on his week matchup, this is the QB for you. His schedule is solid going forward too, with Baltimore’s struggling secondary next week and Jacksonville the week after that in week 17.

I hope this helps you guys make decisions for the pivotal round two playoff week. I’ve dropped my rankings for week fifteen down below. Good luck Rotoballers, see you next week.
