Week 14 DraftKings NFL DFS Picks - Main Slate (2024): Will Levis, Isaac Guerendo, Justin Jefferson, and more

Will Levis - Fantasy Football Rankings, Draft Sleepers, Waiver Wire Pickups

Joe Nicely's DraftKings NFL DFS picks and lineup sleepers for the Week 14 (December 2024) Main Slate. His top daily fantasy football lineups to target for DraftKings DFS contests.

Hi RotoBallers, and welcome back to our DraftKings Main Slate article. I suppose the elephant in the room is the fact that six teams are on byes this week, which forces us to make some tough choices when constructing DFS lineups for this slate. I also think you'll find that this week's article features some names that you wouldn't have found in this article back in Week 3 or 4, as injuries continue to pile up and some unlikely players begin to emerge as we near the homestretch of the regular season. These sorts of drastic shifts are exactly what makes DFS so fun!

These DraftKings lineup recommendations are based on matchups, projected DK points and ownership, overall upside/talent levels, and opportunity, as well as factors such as Vegas odds, home-field advantage, and more. There are quite a few great plays available on DK for Week 14, and this article includes a couple of my favorite options for each position.

Also, be sure to check out our weekly FanDuel DFS lineup picks and lots of other great NFL DFS articles and NFL DFS tools to help you win MORE in 2024! Good luck with your DraftKings DFS lineups -- let's dominate this Week 14 slate together!

Editor's Note: The FFPC Baby Gorilla Tournament is now open, featuring a $100,000 grand prize and a $675,450 total prize pool! This 12-team, Tight End Premium contest uses a 20-round draft format, with the overall winners determined by total points scored during Weeks 15–17. DraftKings Quarterbacks - Week 14 DFS Picks

Sam Darnold - ATL at MIN ($6,100)

Although targeting the Atlanta defense with Justin Herbert last week didn't work out, I'm willing to go right back to this matchup with Minnesota's Sam Darnold -- who will be throwing to pass-catchers of a different caliber than anything Herbert has at his disposal.

Darnold has been one of 2024's biggest surprises, as he ranks fourth in the league in TD passes (23) and fifth in yards per attempt (8.2). He's topped 20 DK points in seven games this year.

The scouting report on Darnold continues to be that he falters when under pressure and thrives with time. He should be working from an extremely clean pocket this week against a Falcons defense that has struggled mightily to get to opposing QBs and ranks last in the league in sacks.

Will Levis - JAX at TEN ($5,000)

While I'll never fully trust Will Levis, the trifecta of DFS price, matchup, and recent performance makes him a legitimate value option on this slate. While his game logs won't blow you away, Levis has now recorded 16+ DraftKings points in four straight starts while averaging 8.3 yards per pass attempt across those outings.

His Week 14 outlook is further raised by a dream matchup against the Jaguars. Jacksonville has been abysmal in almost every facet in 2024 and that certainly extends to its pass defense. This unit ranks dead last in the NFL in yards per attempt (8.36) allowed to opposing QBs and second-to-last in DK Points, passing yards, and passing TDs allowed.

DraftKings Running Backs - Week 14 DFS Picks

Alvin Kamara - NO at NYG ($8,000)

I'll simply reiterate what I said in this column last week when highlighting Alvin Kamara ... don't overthink this one! At the risk of being boring, I'm running AK back this week, as he remains locked in to handle an elite workload for a Saints offense that has been ravaged by injuries, and most recently lost goal-line vulture Taysom Hill for the year.

Kamara leads all NFL running backs with a 22.4% target share. He's tallied the most catches (59) and receiving yards (450) at the position this season. He draws a tremendous matchup against a Giants defensive front that's allowing a chunky 5.04 yards per carry, as well as 6.45 yards per target to the RB position.

Isaac Guerendo - CHI at SF ($5,400)

The rookie is the last man standing in a Niners backfield that will be without both Christian McCaffrey and Jordan Mason for the foreseeable future. Guerendo now slides into a role that has been a license to print DFS points for the last several years, as we've seen with CMC, Mason, and even Elijah Mitchell.

A fourth-round pick out of Louisville, Guerendo is a freak athlete who clocked a 4.33 40-yard dash at the NFL Combine. He's gained an eye-opening 5.9 yards per carry in limited action this season, but the intriguing stat is that he's hauled in five of six targets through the air in 2024.

He'll get his first start as a pro against a Bears defense that's coughing up nearly five yards per carry (4.9 YPC) to opposing RBs this season. Guerendo's ownership will be massive, but he's a set-it-and-forget-it cash-game play that can also be utilized in small-field, single-entry tournaments.

DraftKings Wide Receivers - Week 14 DFS Picks

Justin Jefferson - ATL at MIN ($7,800)

Simply saying "he's due" isn't a very good analysis, but when it comes to Justin Jefferson, well, he's due. JJ is second in the NFL in receiving yards (1,038) behind only Ja'Marr Chase. However, Jefferson's DFS production has been relatively limited over the past month because he (somehow) hasn't scored a TD since Week 7. Yes ... he's due.

This matchup against Atlanta is a tremendous "get right" spot for the Vikings superstar. The Falcons are allowing the league's highest catch rate (72.4%) to opposing receivers and have surrendered the third-most receiving TDs (15) to the position in 2024. Positive TD regression could hit in a big way for Jefferson this week.

Jakobi Meyers - LV at TB ($5,800)

I love targeting game environments involving the Tampa Bay Bucs, as they both score a lot of points on offense and give up a ton of points on defense. The Raiders offense isn't one I'm usually circling for DFS purposes, but Jakobi Meyers is intriguing this week. Along with Brock Bowers, Meyers has carried the Las Vegas passing offense since Davante Adams departed for New York.

Meyers has earned nine or more targets in six of his 10 active games this year and has been targeted a mind-boggling 16 times just in the Raiders' last two. The passing game showed some promise with Aidan O'Connell at the helm last week and there's certainly some upside in play for Meyers against a Bucs defense that's allowed the seventh-most DraftKings points to the WR position this season.

DraftKings Tight Ends - Week 14 DFS Picks

Trey McBride - SEA at ARI ($6,100)

One of the rising stars at the tight-end position, McBride continues to be force-fed targets in the Arizona passing attack. He leads all NFL tight ends with a 28.7% target share and has garnered an almost comical 27 targets across the Cardinals' last two games, which has resulted in back-to-back 12-catch outings.

McBride torched this week's opponent just two weeks ago in a loss at Seattle, dropping 28.3 DK points against the Seahawks. Things haven't changed all that much since Week 12 and we can expect Kyler Murray to continue to rely heavily on McBride in this matchup.

Juwan Johnson - NO at NYG ($3,400)

We mentioned Taysom Hill's season-ending injury in the Alvin Kamara section of the article. Saints tight end Juwan Johnson stands to be a big beneficiary of Hill's absence. He saw an immediate uptick in volume last week, earning seven targets on a 70% snap share.

This injury-ravaged Saints offense is starved for weapons and Johnson should be a big part of the game plan this week against the Giants. New York has allowed the league's highest catch rate (84.6%) and a healthy 8.10 yards per target to the TE position in 2024.
