RotoBaller David Paul breaks down Week Eleven waiver wire pickups for quarterbacks (QBs) and your fantasy football teams. Let's win some leagues!

In this space we will highlight some NFL quarterbacks (QBs) that need to be considered on the Week 11 waiver wire for your fantasy football teams. Some of these quarterbacks may have a good matchup for Week 11, have been putting up relevant points recently, or are just under owned.

Case Keenum - QB, Houston Texans - 29% owned in Yahoo leagues

Baller Move: Add in All Leagues
Analysis: Case Keenum's waiver wire star remains bright following a week of mediocre games by other waiver wire QBs.  If you're looking for a quarterback to add to your fantasy team, do you really want to roll the dice with EJ Manuel or Geno Smith when you can pickup Keenum?  Keenum has been excellent since becoming the starter in Houston. In week 7 he put up a very good game against the Chiefs 3rd ranked passing defense, good for 15.84 points in many leagues. Keenum followed that up with a 20-for-34, 350 yard, three touchdown performance in week 9 against the Colts - good for 37.60 fantasy points. And on Sunday he continued his torrid stretch with 201 passing yards and 3 more touchdowns, good for 25.34 fantasy points. On the year he now has a ridiculous 7 touchdowns versus 0 interceptions. With Arian Foster officially done for the year, expect the Texans to call more plays for Keenum to throw to Andre Johnson and DeAndre Hopkins.  Week 11 is also a good matchup against an Oakland Raiders defense which doesn’t scare anyone. If you're looking for a QB, target Keenum on the Week 11 waiver wire and feel confident starting him in all formats.

Josh McCown – QB, Chicago Bears - 7% owned in Yahoo leagues

Baller Move: Add in Deep Leagues
Analysis: Jay Cutler is down again with a bad ankle, and McCown will get the starting nod in Week 11 against the Baltimore Ravens. The matchup against the Ravens is a mixed bag since their defense is coming off a 3 INT game in Cincinnati, but are still 23rd in the NFL with only 7 INT total and rank near the middle in yards allowed. The positive for McCown is that he inherits a team with two stud receivers in Brandon Marshall and Alshon Jeffry (South Carolina alum – go Gamecocks), a versatile back in Matt Forte, in improved offensive line to protect him, and a high-powered offensive scheme. In the 2.5 games McCown has played in this year, he has played very well throwing for 538 yards with 4 TDs versus 0 INT and looks awfully comfortable with this team. Plus while he is not a runner, he has also had games with 33 and 20 yards scrambling. If you are looking to replace Cutler, are in a 2 QB league, or are looking for another quarterback - target McCown as a viable waiver wire pickup for Week 11 and beyond until Cutler is healthy again.

Carson Palmer - QB, Arizona Cardinals - 28% owned in Yahoo leagues

Baller Move: Add in Deep Leagues (for the right matchups)
Analysis: While Palmer hasn't really been lighting up the fantasy world this year, he has been pretty solid the past couple of weeks and gets a tasty matchup versus the Jaguars in Week 11. In Week 9, Palmer totaled 17.78 points and in Week 10 he added another 17.44 points. Not too bad. He is also in a pass-first offense, which is always good when targeting a QB off the waiver wire. Last week Palmer had 32 pass attempts, and completed 20 of them for 241 yards and 2 TDs. If you're looking for a Week 11 quarterback off the waiver wire, or are in a 2 QB league and Palmer is available, scoop him up as a decent option against a putrid Jaguars team who gives up lots of fantasy points to opposing QBs.
