Overlooked Wide Receiver Options for Week 11

RotoBaller David Hume breaks down some overlooked wide receiver options on the week eleven waiver wire. These WR sleepers can help you down the fantasy football home stretch.

Week 11 Waiver Wire - Sleeper Wide Receivers (WRs)

In this article I'll take a look at some wide receivers that are being overlooked in fantasy leagues for Week 11, and are still available on most waiver wires. These WRs are all currently under owned and should be considered as sleepers for your teams and the fantasy stretch run:

Jarrett Boykin - 44% owned

Be sure to check all of our fantasy football rankings for 2025:

The most dropped player in fantasy football last week, Boykin fared just fine on Sunday. He lead the team in targets, catches and yards as he finished with 112 yards on eight catches, although he wasn’t able to get into the end zone. The Packers play NYG, MIN, DET, ATL, and DAL in the next few weeks, which are all favorable matchups going into the fantasy playoffs. With Tolzien starting, Boykin should continue to be targeted and is a nice WR3/FLEX option moving forward. In fact, I predict Boykin will outperform Cecil Shorts, Marvin Jones, and Harry Douglas over the next 6 weeks. At only 44% owned Boykin is a wide receiver sleeper option who's still being overlooked, and should be picked up off the week 11 waiver wire.

Rishard Matthews - 4% owned

Matthews was targeted 14 times on Primetime, catching 11 for 120 yards and a pair of touchdowns. Although he could be inconsistent going forward due to Wallace and Hartline also in the WR mix, I expect Matthews to finish the season strong filling in for slot receiver Brandon Gibson. The Miami offensive line is struggling, so Tannehill will need to get the ball out quickly and should be looking for Matthews in the short passing game.

Santonio Holmes - 5% owned

Rotoballer-Fantasy-Football-Advice-Analysis-Santonio-Holmes

Holmes should immediately become the top WR target for Geno Smith as the Jets simply don’t have many other viable options. Holmes, who has 10 receptions for 243 yards and a touchdown in four games played this season, broke out in week 3 against the Bills with five receptions for 154 yards and a touchdown. He faces those same Bills in week 11 along with the Ravens in week 12 and Oakland in week 14, all of whom rank in the bottom half of the league against opposing wideouts this season. But the Jets also face Miami (weeks 13 & 17), Carolina (week 15), and Cleveland (week 16) - all teams that shutdown opposing wide receivers. Holmes is a decent wide receiver add in deeper leagues and has a lot of upside as a sleeper this week against the Bills.

Mario Manningham - 9% owned

Manningham led the 49ers with 6 targets in his season debut, but finished with only three catches for 30 yards. The bright side is that the Carolina Panthers have a great defense, so at least he wasn't completely shut down. Manningham immediately took over as the #2 WR option in his first game back, playing 45 of the 57 offensive snaps. The fact that he was often targeted could be a sign of solid FLEX starts moving forward, as San Francisco plays the Saints, Skins, and then the Rams.

Nate Burleson - 8% owned

Burleson, who has missed the past 5 games with a broken arm, may be back this week against the Steelers. With opponents game-planning to stop Calvin Johnson at all costs, Burleson should be able to get open against the defenses and make an immediate impact when activated into the lineup. Let's not forget that Burleson had 19 catches and 239 yards receiving in his 3 games started, so he will be a viable WR3/FLEX option in deeper PPR leagues. Target Burleson as a sleeper stash off the week 11 waiver wire.

Mike Brown - 9% owned

Brown was less than stellar last week with his 2 catch 40 yard game against the Titans, but not all hope is lost. Not only are the Titans the #1 defense against opposing wide receivers, there was also no garbage time for Brown to produce fantasy points. The Jags threw the ball just 23 times last week, while averaging over 36 attempts on the season. Brown has taken over Blackmon’s spot, as evidence by him playing 51 of the 60 offensive snaps, which should translate to many more pass targets moving forward. There is sure to be quite a bit of garbage time in the future for the 1-8 Jaguars and this wide receiver.

Andre Roberts - 5% owned

Roberts has shown that when given the opportunity he can perform, and perform well. With Michael Floyd getting injured in week 10, Roberts had 5 catches on 8 targets for 72 yards and a touchdown. There's a possibility of Michael Floyd being out again with an AC sprain in week 11, so Roberts has the potential to be a solid WR3/FLEX sleeper start against the Jaguars.

Michael Crabtree - 20% owned

Crabtree is eyeing a week 13 return and could give fantasy owners a great option heading into the playoffs. There is no doubt of Crabtree’s potential, as Kaepernick and Crabtree were arguably one of the best QB-WR duos in the league last year. Along with Percy Harvin, Crabtree should be added immediately in all leagues as a stretch run stash.
