By the way: some of the pitchers we recommend benching in week 1 could easily be solid as the year moves along. But a wait-and-see approach in the first week of the season usually spares you much heart ache and pain in the ERA / WHIP departments. It's tough to recover in ERA and WHIP the more you get blown up early on in the year. Basically we are recommending that you bench most guys in unfavorable matchups in the first week, where we would be less bearish on them later on in the season...
