ANALYSIS: Virgil Green stands at 6’5”. This was never more apparent than on opening night when he stood wide open in the end zone. All Trevor Siemian had to do was flick the ball over the linebacker. Alas, Siemian fired it too low, underestimating Green’s reach and failing to convert on the TD. While it doesn’t show up on the box score, you know that it is being made clear on the tape to Siemian. Green ended up catching four of his five targets for just 28 yards, but don’t cut him just yet. A date against Indianapolis’ soft defense looms on the Week 2 horizon.
