After signing with the Broncos last season, tight end Vernon Davis has a new home yet again. Davis will now join Kirk Cousins and Jordan Reed in Washington. It will be interesting to see if Davis can find a niche with the Skins, or if he will be completely eclipsed by Reed. I think that the Washington offense has the potential to be good for Davis. It could allow Jay Gruden to run some two-tight end sets and fool defenses with play actions. I don't think this move negatively impacts Reed's value, but at the same time it gives Washington depth at the position. Reed has a reputation for being oft-injured so having someone with Davis' athleticism is a nice safety blanket.
