UFL Fantasy Football Rankings: QB, RB, WR, TE Rankings and Analysis (2025)

UFL RANKINGS, FANTASY FOOTBALL,

UFL fantasy football rankings at QB, RB, WR, TE for 2025. The top fantasy UFL players at each position (QB, RB, WR, TE) for UFL drafts and DFS UFL lineups.

It's finally here: the UFL season will kick off with one game on Friday, March 28, two games on Saturday, March 29, and two games on Sunday, March 30. Friday and Saturday matchups will be broadcast on Fox, and Sunday's two contests will be shown on ESPN. If you have never heard of the UFL, it's a Spring football league filled with many former NFL players and aspiring NFL players alike. The league features former college stars like Kellen Mond, Max Duggan, Hakeem Butler, and many more!

RotoBaller's UFL experts have all the information you need for fantasy purposes heading into the league's opening weekend. As always, the rankings could see major changes after the opening week of the UFL campaign, but given the data we have to work with, we will provide QB, RB, WR, and TE rankings for the 2025 UFL season.

Be sure to check out our UFL articles hub for betting and DFS content. Football is back, so let's crush drafts and contests!

Quarterback UFL Fantasy Football Rankings

Starting quarterbacks are still not confirmed by all teams, with locked-in starters having their perceived Week 1 job security baked into the rankings. Here's how the quarterback landscape shapes up for Week 1:

Rank Player Name Team
1 Luis Perez Arlington Renegades
2 Jordan Ta'amu DC Defenders
3 Alex McGough Birmingham Stallions
4 Kellen Mond San Antonio Brahmas
5 Nolan Henderson Houston Roughnecks
6 Max Duggan St. Louis Battlehawks
7 Troy Williams Memphis Showboats
8 Matt Corral Birmingham Stallions
9 Anthony Brown Houston Roughnecks
10 Danny Etling Michigan Panthers
11 Manny Wilkins S. Louis Battlehawks
12 Spencer Sanders DC Defenders

Going into Week 1, Luiz Perez is at the top of the quarterback's rankings list. The spring football veteran is back for another year after posting his best season statistics-wise in 2024. The 30-year-old led the UFL with 2,309 passing yards, 18 passing touchdowns, 225 completions, and 336 passing attempts. Tight end Sal Canella and wide receiver Tyler Vaughns are back to help bolster the Renegade offense as they combined for 98 catches, 998 receiving yards, and nine touchdowns last season.

Birmingham's head coach, Skip Holtz, once again leads the top franchise in the UFL for the 2025 campaign. He will be reunited with the 2023 USFL MVP and two-time USFL champion quarterback Alex McGough, who previously played under him for two seasons (2022-23). McGough could thrive again under Holtz, as most of the Stallions' offensive starters are returning from last season.

San Antonio won the XFL Conference title last season but struggled to find a consistent starting quarterback due to injuries. Brahmas head coach Wade Phillips named former Texas A&M star Kellen Mond as their starting QB ahead of Week 1 against Arlington. Mond may provide high-end production for an offense that struggled with consistency one season ago.

Running Back UFL Fantasy Football Rankings

As Week 1 draws near, we're seeing the finalization of rosters across the league. It's always a challenge in fantasy football to predict which running backs will dominate in carries and rushing yardage, especially with limited information early on. However, now that rosters are essentially locked in, we officially know the contenders who will be vying for playing time on a weekly basis. As the season kicks off, the initial two weeks will be pivotal in establishing who could be the top backs in the league.

Rank Player Name Team
1 Jacob Saylors St. Louis Battlehawks
2 Abram Smith DC Defenders
3 John Lovett San Antonio Brahmas
4 Matthew Colburn III Michigan Panthers
5 Ricky Person Jr. Birmingham Stallions
6 Kirk Merritt Houston Roughnecks
7 De'Veon Smith Arlington Renegades
8 Dae Dae Hunter Arlington Renegades
9 Deneric Prince Memphis Showboats
10 Anthony McFarland Jr. San Antonio Brahmas
11 Nate McCrary Michigan Panthers
12 C.J Marable Birmingham Stallions
13 Deon Jackson DC Defenders
14 ZaQuandre White Houston Roughnecks
15 Jacob Kibodi Memphis Showboats

The Battlehawks have the luxury of one of the top running backs returning in Jacob Saylors. Saylors rushed for 461 yards (4.9 yards per carry) last season and should be reckoned with again under head coach Anthony Becht's NFL-like offense.

DC Defenders' Abram Smith is back in action after missing all of last season with a torn ACL. The 26-year-old led the XFL in rushing in 2023 and should receive plenty of touches after DC struggled to find a consistent run game in 2024.

Birmingham's Ricky Person Jr. is in line to have another strong season for the defending champs. He became a key ingredient in Skip Holtz's offense, leading the UFL with six rushing touchdowns last season.

Wide Receiver UFL Fantasy Football Rankings

Week 1 will tell us much about how quarterback-receiver relationships look early on. Before seeing these reports in action, here's how the wide receiver landscape stacks up heading into the opening weekend of the UFL season:

Rank Player Name Team
1 Jontre Kirklin San Antonio Brahmas
2 Hakeem Butler St. Louis Battlehawks
3 Tyler Vaughns Arlington Renegades
4 Justin Hall Houston Roughnecks
5 Daewood Davis Memphis Showboats
6 Amari Rodgers Birmingham Stallions
7 Deon Cain Birmingham Stallions
8 Marcus Simms Michigan Panthers
9 Ty Scott DC Defenders
10 Marquez Stevenson San Antonio Brahmas
11 JaVonta Payton Arlington Renegades
12 Siaosi Mariner Michigan Panthers
13 Marlon Williams Birmingham Stallions
14 Chris Rowland DC Defenders
15 Jahcour Pearson St. Louis Battlehawks
16 Jonathan Adams Memphis Showboats
17 Keke Chism Houston Roughnecks
18 Denzel Mims St. Louis Battlehawks
19 Justin Smith San Antonio Brahmas
20 T.J. Vasher Houston Roughnecks
21 Isaiah Winstead Arlington Renegades
22 Samson Nacua Michigan Panthers
23 Gary Jennings St. Louis Battlehawks
24 Jaydon Mickens DC Defenders
25 Davion Davis Birmingham Stallions
26 Isiah Hennie Memphis Showboats
27 Devin Ross Michigan Panthers

Jontre Kirklin shared the receptions title last season with 56 total catches. 2025 should be no different, with the Brahmas continuing to focus on being a pass-heavy offense under Mond at quarterback.

Battlehawks wideout Hakeem Butler should have another elite season after he led the UFL in receiving yards with 652 during last year's campaign. Standing at 6-foot-6, the 28-year-old has great success, consistently winning contested catch battles.

Wideout Tyler Vaughns and the Renegades enjoyed a late-season run in 2024. Vaughn finished with 502 receiving yards and three receiving touchdowns, and he could easily repeat that success playing alongside veteran QB Perez for another year.

Tight End UFL Fantasy Football Rankings

Like in NFL fantasy football, there will likely be a select few tight ends that will excel during the season. Identifying those guys early in the season could give fantasy managers and DFSers a real edge over the competition. It's worth noting that some UFL teams could have major shakeups early on at that position as they try and find what works for their offense.

Rank Player Name Team
1 Jace Sternberger Birmingham Stallions
2 Sal Cannella Arlington Renegades
3 Alize Mack San Antonio Brahmas
4 Briley Moore DC Defenders
5 Cole Hikutini Michigan Panthers
6 Jake Sutherland S.t Louis Battlehawks
7 Jay Jay Wilson Memphis Showboats
8 Josh Pederson Houston Roughnecks
9 Jordan Thomas Birmingham Stallions
10 Gunnar Oakes Michigan Panthers

Sal Cannella thrives in spring football and should once again be one of the top tight ends in the league. Cannella will likely be one of the top beneficiaries of the Renegades' pass-heavy offense. The 28-year-old finished in the top 5 in targets and receiving yards last season.

Jace Sternberger, a major component in the Stallion's high-powered offense last season, is back for another year. Sternberger showed no signs of slowing down in 2024, leading Birmingham in receiving years and touchdowns.

Alize Mack will have a heavy workload this season in San Antonio. He is expected to be the main tight end in a pass-heavy offensive attack.
