Top Week 11 Quarterback Pickups - Best Fantasy QB Adds, Streamers Include Joshua Dobbs, Russell Wilson, and Jordan Love

Joshua Dobbs - Fantasy Football Rankings, Draft Sleepers, Waiver Wire Pickups

Dan's top quarterback Week 11 fantasy pickups (2023). The best QB fantasy waiver wire pickups to add and Week 11 QB streamers for 1QB, 2QB, and Superflex leagues.

Week 10 signaled a shift back to underwhelming production from quarterbacks across the NFL. Only two players (C.J. Stroud and Joe Burrow) threw for over 300 passing yards in a game where they played against each other. Additionally, we had just seven quarterbacks throw for multiple touchdown passes, headlined by a three-touchdown performance from Brock Purdy.

Four teams will be on bye again in Week 11, but thankfully there should be minimal fantasy impact as we move closer and closer to the fantasy playoffs. It seems unlikely that many teams are relying heavily on the likes of Taylor Heinicke, Gardner Minshew, Mac Jones, or Derek Carr based on their 2023 performances.

In this article, I will be focusing on players under 65% rostered in fantasy leagues while adding a couple of deep sleepers for two-quarterback leagues (less than 25%). Let’s look at who you should consider picking up for Week 11 below.

Be sure to check all of our fantasy football rankings for 2025:

1-QB Waiver Wire Options and Stashes

Joshua Dobbs, Minnesota Vikings

Yahoo: 52% rostered

Joshua Dobbs continues to put up big fantasy numbers as a starting quarterback this season. In his first start with the Vikings, Dobbs once again delivered big fantasy numbers thanks to his ability to quietly operate as a dual-threat quarterback.

Dobbs completed 23 of 34 passes for 268 yards and a touchdown while adding eight carries for 44 yards and another rushing score. The veteran quarterback has now surpassed 40 rushing yards in three of his last four games and has scored a rushing touchdown in four straight contests. He’s currently got a three-game streak of 20+ fantasy points, which puts him firmly in the weekly QB1 conversation.

With Justin Jefferson’s return on the horizon and a strong offensive line ahead of him, Dobbs is a player that needs to be rostered in all leagues.

Russell Wilson, Denver Broncos

Yahoo: 46% rostered

The days of Russell Wilson consistently lighting up scoreboards are long behind us, but the current version of the quarterback is playing very efficient football, especially when it comes to finding the end zone.

Coming into Monday night, Wilson has thrown for 1,613 yards and 16 touchdowns with just four interceptions. Wilson has just two games this season with 250+ passing yards (and five games with under 200 passing yards) but has five games with multiple touchdown passes.

The veteran quarterback also provides a decent rushing floor, adding at least 30 rushing yards in four of eight games this season. Wilson’s days of anchoring your fantasy quarterback position are over, but he’s a solid streamer if you find yourself scrambling due to bye weeks.

2-QB Waiver Wire Options and Stashes

Jordan Love, Green Bay Packers

Yahoo: 43% rostered

Jordan Love showed a pulse against the Pittsburgh Steelers, throwing for 289 yards, two touchdowns, and two interceptions in a losing effort.

It marked the first time that Love had thrown multiple touchdowns in a game since Week 7 and just the fourth time Love has had 2+ touchdown passes this season. Unfortunately, he also has four games with multiple interceptions this season as well.

Trusting Love as your fantasy quarterback doesn’t feel great based on his performances to start the season, but he does have several receiving weapons at his disposal that can create after the catch to elevate his pure passing numbers, which makes him a decent enough streaming option in a pinch.

Bailey Zappe, New England Patriots

Yahoo: 0% rostered

Mac Jones was efficient in Germany against the Colts, completing 15 of 20 passes for 170 yards. Unfortunately, he threw one of the worst interceptions on the season, which ultimately led to his benching on the last drive of a game where the Patriots needed a touchdown to win.

Jones was replaced by Bailey Zappe, who refused to be upstaged by Jones and threw a terrible interception in his own right to seal an international win for the Indianapolis Colts. Things got even murkier for Jones after the game, with Bill Belichick failing to provide clarity on the team’s quarterback position in Week 11.

There is a chance that Jones remains the starter (for now) at quarterback, but the door has seemingly been opened for Zappe to show that he can factor into the team’s long-term plans. Zappe flashed some fantasy relevance during a stretch last season, completing 70% of his passes for 781 yards with five touchdowns and three interceptions in four games.

The Patriots have a bye week in Week 11, so you have time to monitor beat reporters, but in deeper leagues, Zappe may be worth sneaking through on the waiver wire thanks to his team being inactive next week.

Jameis Winston, New Orleans Saints

Yahoo: 0% rostered

Derek Carr was well on his way to another mediocre fantasy performance against the Vikings, throwing for just 110 yards in nearly three-quarters of play. A head and shoulder injury ultimately knocked him out of the game, paving the way for Jameis Winston to get some run for New Orleans. The results went about as expected.

Winston completed 13 of 25 passes for 122 yards, two touchdowns, and two interceptions in just over one quarter of work in a comeback effort. Winston looked to have an excellent connection with Chris Olave during the comeback and is an intriguing quarterback for fantasy depending on how many games Carr will miss.

Head coach Dennis Allen already made it clear that Derek Carr will be starting if he’s healthy enough to play, but this is the second shoulder injury he’s suffered this season. The team could opt to be cautious with the veteran quarterback this time, which would make Winston appealing as a high-risk streaming quarterback.

Carr has two weeks to get ready with the Saints on bye in Week 11, so Winston would be a true Hail Mary addition at the quarterback position.
