The Week 9 slate of NFL games was a relatively mild one for fantasy football injuries, but with bye weeks in full force, every player on or near the fantasy radar has significance -- especially in deep leagues. Our fantasy football injuries report highlights the banged-up players with fantasy significance and their early status heading into Week 10 as of Monday, November 7, 2022. This article focuses only on players who suffered injuries on Sunday of Week 9 games.
Aaron Jones, Josh Allen, Romeo Doubs, and Christian Watson picked up bumps and bruises in Week 9. We can't know for sure how these injuries will progress before game time in Week 10, but it's never too early to at least take a look at the group of key guys to prepare for waiver wire Wednesday or Thursday.

Aaron Jones Injury Update
Green Bay Packers running back Aaron Jones (ankle) exited Sunday's loss to the Lions. He didn't return and was seen wearing a boot on his left foot after the game. Fortunately, X-rays were negative, so the Packers dodged a bullet on a day that also saw Romeo Doubs (ankle) and Christian Watson (head) succumb to injuries.
Jones sounds like he has a chance of suiting up, although he may have to play through pain moving ahead. If he's not available, A.J. Dillon will be the No. 1 option out of the backfield.
Josh Allen Injury Update
Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen (elbow) struggled in Sunday's loss to the Jets, finishing with only 205 yards. Fortunately, the signal-caller produced 86 yards and two touchdowns off nine touches, so he at least got something going. The Jets defense allowed the 26-year-old to complete just 52% of his throws on the afternoon while getting through a Bills offensive line that gave up a season-high five sacks.
Although the loss was disappointing for Buffalo, the biggest takeaway was a right elbow injury Allen suffered late in the contest. He reported experiencing "slight pain" when speaking postgame, so fantasy managers will need to monitor things leading up to the Week 10 matchup against the Vikings. With that said, it's possible he misses practice time and even carries a questionable designation for that one.
Romeo Doubs Injury Update
Green Bay Packers wide receiver Romeo Doubs (foot) was seen wearing a walking boot and using crutches after Sunday's loss to Detroit. The rookie suffered an ankle injury early in the contest and took a cart ride to the locker room before eventually being ruled out.
He finished with only one catch for 18 yards. There's a chance he won't be available for the Week 10 meeting against the Dallas Cowboys. However, considering how bad Green Bay's offense has looked, fantasy managers may want to keep Doubs out of the lineup even if he is healthy.
Christian Watson Injury Update
Green Bay Packers wide receiver Christian Watson (concussion) caught both of his targets for 24 yards during the team's 15-9 loss to the Detroit Lions. The rookie exited last week's contest against Buffalo after suffering a concussion on his first catch of the game. This week, Watson took another nasty shot on his second catch and never returned with another concussion.
Suffering two head injuries in as many weeks is highly troubling, and with how stiff the league has been on the matter after Miami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa sustained the same injury over the course of two weeks, we may not see Watson for some time. The Green Bay receiving corps is extremely banged up at the moment, with Allen Lazard being the only trustworthy option for fantasy purposes. When Watson returns, he will be nothing more than a bench stash and can safely be dropped to the waiver wire in all redraft formats.
