Top Fantasy Football Dynasty Players For Each Team: NFC North

Free Agency Check - Quarterback ADP Risers and Fallers

Ellis Johnson selects the most valuable dynasty fantasy football player on each NFC North team for the 2024 season. These are the star players you want to have.

With NFL camps underway, it feels like the season is right around the corner. Personally, I've been eating up the highlights out of camp waiting for the season to start. Although it’s important to keep a level head, watching rookies and breakout candidates making spectacular uncontested catches is always fun.

We have a lot of exciting fantasy rookies joining the mix this season, especially in the NFC. Of the 2024 draft class, all three top WRs, the top-2 RBs, and the top QB joined the conference. As a result, the NFC is a true wild card.

In this series of articles, I will highlight who I believe is the most valuable dynasty player on each NFL team. I’ll divide the teams by division and break down the situation that may impact these players in the future.

Be sure to check all of our fantasy football rankings for 2025:

Detroit Lions

Amon-Ra St. Brown (WR, DET)

What do you get when you pair a hard-working athlete with a specific skill set and a great offensive system? One answer is Amon-Ra St. Brown. Although not an elite outside threat, offensive coordinator Ben Johnson had St. Brown running as a big slot, where he thrived.

Last year particularly, he started to expand his game and enter the top group of NFL receivers. Additionally, he is now getting paid like one after signing a four-year, $120 million contract this offseason. The team also locked down Jared Goff for the foreseeable future, making St. Brown an elite dynasty WR.

Green Bay Packers

Jordan Love (QB, GB)

If you had the patience to hang onto Love when he was drafted, congratulations. In his first year starting, he looked like he had the poise, skill set, and knowledge to become a top NFL QB. Although many laughed at the decision to draft him in the first round with Aaron Rodgers, the gamble certainly paid off.

Not only did Love lead this team to a playoff victory over the Dallas Cowboys, but they also stuck in the game against the 49ers in the Divisional Round. That’s a pretty great end to the season for last season’s fantasy QB5.

The only thing hanging over Love’s head is his contract. However, I’m pretty confident the Packers will make it happen. If you have found love, enjoy riding another great Packers QB.

Minnesota Vikings

Justin Jefferson (WR, MIN)

Arguably the best WR in the league has to highlight his team for dynasty. Jefferson’s record-breaking beginning of his career is just the start. After securing a long-term deal this offseason, he will be wearing purple and yellow for the foreseeable future.

The addition of pocket passing and game managing J.J. McCarthy in this year’s draft adds to his security for fantasy. Especially since the team is planning on starting Sam Darnold to begin the season, Jefferson is guaranteed to have a functional QB delivering the ball for years to come.

Chicago Bears

Caleb Williams (QB, CHI)

I know it’s not a hot take, but I am unbelievably confident in Caleb Williams. Williams has all the talent and football IQ you want in a rookie QB. I believe the narrative about his personality and demeanor is being blown out of proportion. Who cares if he wants to paint his nails or have a pink phone case?

Also, everything on the field shows that he is an electric football player. Add in the fact that the Bears were not deserving of the first overall pick (only acquiring it through the Panthers trade in 2023), he walks into a spectacular situation. DJ Moore, Keenan Allen, Rome Odunze, D'Andre Swift, and Cole Kmet is a very talented NFL offense. If Williams is half of what he was in college, he’ll be able to produce for fantasy from his first NFL snap.
